Intellinet 2-Port Gigabit Ultra PoE Extender — one cable in, two PoE+ devices out, 100 m further
802.3bt PoE in2x PoE+ out · 60WGigabit · +100 mNo power supply
The Intellinet 2-Port Gigabit Ultra PoE Extender (561600) is a PoE-powered extender that takes one IEEE 802.3bt (Ultra PoE) cable and turns it into two Gigabit PoE+ ports, each delivering up to 30 W, up to 100 m from the source. It is ideal for a pair of IP cameras, an access point plus a camera, or two VoIP phones beyond the 100 m Ethernet limit, where there is no mains socket.
Internally it is a 3-port Gigabit switch: one PoE IN port powers the unit and carries the uplink, two PoE OUT ports power and connect the devices. No adapter is needed or supplied.
Before you order: The full 60 W budget for the two outputs needs a source that delivers 60 W to the input — in practice an 802.3bt switch or injector. It also accepts 802.3at/af sources, but Intellinet does not publish the remaining output power in that case.
What's in the Box
- Intellinet 2-Port Gigabit Ultra PoE Extender (561600)
- 4 rubber feet
- Instructions
- No power supply and no network cables
What It Means in Practice
- One cable powers and connects two PoE devices up to 200 m from the switch.
- Up to 30 W per output covers most fixed cameras, Wi-Fi access points and phones; the two outputs share 60 W.
- Non-PoE devices still get data on the outputs.
- Fanless metal housing for ceiling voids and small cabinets; desktop-style with rubber feet.
What Will Not Work
- Outputs are limited to 30 W (802.3at): 802.3bt devices, PTZ cameras with heaters or PoE lighting will not be fully powered.
- It cannot run from a wall adapter — only from PoE on the IN port.
- No 2.5G/10G — ports are 10/100/1000 Mbps.
- No wall-mount or DIN-rail kit is published.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can a PoE+ switch power it?
It accepts 802.3at/af sources, but the published 60 W output budget assumes a 60 W input. From a 30 W PoE+ port, expect much less for the two devices.
What is the total reach?
Up to 100 m to the extender and up to 100 m from the extender to each device — 200 m in total — on Cat5e or Cat6.
What if I need four devices?
Use the 4-Port version (561617), which offers four PoE+ outputs with a 90 W budget.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
A neat solution for two
IP cameras or a camera plus an access point at the far end of a site, using one 802.3bt cable. The extender has no power of its own, so plan the source budget first.
✓ Buy it if you have an 802.3bt source and need two 802.3af/at devices more than 100 m away.
✕ Skip it if a device needs more than 30 W, or your only source is a PoE+ (30 W) port.
→ Also consider Intellinet 4-Port Gigabit Ultra PoE Extender (561617) for up to four devices.
