The crimper handles 8P8C (RJ45) plugs and has an integrated cable cutter, while the tester checks RJ45, RJ12 and RJ11 cables for shorts, reversed wires and defects.

Good to know: The crimper is specified for 8P8C (RJ45) plugs only. The tester needs one 9 V battery, which is not included.
