The Intellinet 522533 is a Gigabit PCI Express x1 network card with one RJ45 port. It goes into a free PCI Express slot inside a desktop PC or server and adds one RJ45 port for wired Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mbps). It is a PCIe 1.0a x1 card that also works in x4, x8 and x16 slots, supports VLAN tagging (802.1Q) and priority (802.1P), shows link and activity on two LEDs, and ships with an 8 cm low-profile bracket. Typical reasons to fit one: the motherboard port has failed, the PC needs a second network interface for a separate network, firewall or NAS link, or an older board only has Fast Ethernet.

An 8 cm low-profile bracket is included. Intellinet lists Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10 and 11 and Linux; macOS is not listed. It is Gigabit only; for 2.5G or 10G links a different card is needed.
