Intellinet 560443 — run a non-PoE device from a PoE+ port
IEEE 802.3at input5 / 7.5 / 9 / 12 V DCGigabitMetal housing
The Intellinet 560443 (IPK-30G) is a Gigabit PoE+ splitter that separates an IEEE 802.3at/af PoE feed into a DC power output and a normal Gigabit data port. It lets you install a device that has no PoE input — a camera, a small router, a media converter, a Raspberry Pi — using only one network cable from a PoE switch or injector.
A switch on the housing selects the output: 5 V / 4 A, 7.5 V / 2.7 A, 9 V / 2.3 A or 12 V / 1.7 A, delivered through the supplied power output cable (centre positive). Data passes at 10/100/1000 Mbps with auto-MDIX, and the metal housing keeps the unit robust in ceilings and cabinets.
Before you order: Set the voltage switch to the device rating before connecting the DC cable — the wrong setting can damage the device. Check that the supplied DC plug fits your device; the plug size is not published by Intellinet.

What It Means in Practice
- One Cat5e/Cat6 cable from a PoE switch replaces a separate power adapter and socket at the device.
- 12 V covers most IP cameras and small network devices; 5 V suits USB-powered gear via a suitable cable.
- Maximum distance is 100 m from the power source, as with any PoE link.
- It draws up to 25.4 W from the PoE source, so plan it as a PoE+ (802.3at) load on the switch.
What Will Not Work
- It does not output 24 V or 48 V.
- It needs an 802.3af/at PoE switch or injector upstream — it does not create PoE.
- It does not power a PoE device (it removes PoE, it does not pass it through).
- It is not weatherproof.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it power a 12 V camera?
Yes, up to 1.7 A at 12 V. Set the switch to 12 V before connecting.
Do I need a PoE+ switch?
An 802.3at source gives the full output; an 802.3af source works for lower loads.
Can I use it with a 24 V device?
No. The highest output is 12 V.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
A splitter is the clean answer when the camera or device you chose has no PoE input. Check two things: the voltage and current of the device, and that its DC plug matches the supplied cable. For PoE cameras that need no splitter, see our
IP cameras.
✓ Buy it if you want to run a 5–12 V device from a PoE+ port with one cable.
✕ Skip it if the device already supports PoE, or needs 24 V or 48 V.
→ Also consider a 12 V Fast Ethernet splitter for low-power devices that do not need Gigabit.
