Intellinet 561693 — Gigabit Ultra PoE Splitter with USB-C Output
USB-C PD up to 45 WIEEE 802.3bt inputGigabit data out5 / 9 / 12 / 15 / 20 V
The Intellinet 561693 Gigabit Ultra PoE Splitter takes power from an IEEE 802.3bt, 802.3at or 802.3af PoE port and turns it into a USB-C Power Delivery output of up to 45 W, while passing Gigabit Ethernet to a separate RJ45 port. It lets you charge or power a USB-C laptop, tablet, thin client or display from the same network cable that carries its data — useful on desks, kiosks, meeting rooms and digital signage without a nearby outlet.
The USB-C port negotiates the standard PD voltages of 5, 9, 12, 15 and 20 V, so the connected device takes only what it asks for. How much power is available depends on the PoE source: 45 W from 802.3bt, 23 W from 802.3at and 12 W from 802.3af.
Before you order: Full 45 W needs an IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++) switch or injector. A 65 W or 100 W laptop will charge slowly or not at all on 45 W, and only at 23 W from a PoE+ port — check your laptop's minimum USB-C charging power.
What's in the Box
- Intellinet 561693 PoE splitter
- Instructions
What It Means in Practice
- One Ethernet cable from a PoE++ switch gives a USB-C tablet or ultrabook both network (via the RJ45 output) and charging (via USB-C).
- Use your own USB-C to USB-C cable; for 45 W it should be a USB-C PD cable rated for at least 3 A.
- On a PoE+ port it is still useful for tablets and phones that charge at 23 W or less.
- It is rated for 0–40 °C indoor use.
What Will Not Work
- It needs a standards-based PoE source — passive PoE injectors are not listed as supported.
- It does not provide a barrel-jack or terminal DC output; power comes out only on USB-C.
- It cannot reach 45 W on an 802.3at or 802.3af port.
- It is not for outdoor or unheated locations below 0 °C.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it charge my MacBook or Windows laptop?
Yes, if the laptop accepts USB-C PD charging at 45 W or less; larger laptops may charge slowly or only while sleeping.
Is a USB-C cable included?
No, the box contains the splitter and instructions. Use a USB-C PD cable rated for 3 A.
Does the laptop also get network through USB-C?
No, the USB-C port carries power only. Network comes from the separate RJ45 output.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
PoE-to-USB-C splitters are a neat way to run tablets and small laptops at desks or kiosks from the network cabinet, as long as the switch port is 802.3bt. Pair it with a PoE++ switch from our
switches range and check the laptop's USB-C charging requirement first.
✓ Buy it if you want to power a USB-C tablet, thin client or ultrabook and give it wired Gigabit from one PoE++ cable.
✕ Skip it if your device needs more than 45 W, needs a barrel-jack DC input, or your switch only has 802.3af ports.
→ Also consider LevelOne POS-5000 if your device needs 12 V or 24 V DC instead of USB-C.
