The Intellinet 716178 is a 6U, 19″ wall mount open frame network rack in black (RAL 9004): a 2-post steel frame with no door or side panels, 500 mm wide, 450 mm deep and 360 mm high, with 400 mm of usable installation depth. The front frame is hinged and swings open to the left or right, so the installer can reach the back of patch panels and switches without taking them off the wall. Cables can enter from every side, integrity bars keep the frame rigid, and the antistatic powder coat protects the steel. It ships as a flatpack with a full set of 20 M6 cage nuts, screws and washers plus the assembly screws, and conforms to IEC 60297-3 and ANSI/EIA 310-E. In practice it is a quick, open and low-cost way to put a patch panel and a switch on the wall of a technical room.

Compatibility — check before buying:
This is an open frame — no door, no lock, no side panels — so use it in a locked technical room or riser. Load is 30 kg with the frame closed and only 10 kg when it is swung open, so keep heavy equipment out of it. Wall mounting hardware is not included: choose fixings for your wall type.
