Intenso Alu Line 8GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive, Aluminium Housing with Protective Cap, up to 28 MB/s Read, Anthracite

The Intenso Alu Line 8GB (3521461) is an anthracite USB 2.0 flash drive in a slim aluminium housing with a protective cap, rated up to 28 MB/s read and 6.5 MB/s write, for users who need a low-cost, durable stick for documents, presentations and small file transfers.

The aluminium body is only 6 mm thin, and a compact cap protects the connector from dust and scratches. It is plug and play on Windows 8 to 11 and macOS 10.x or later.

• 1 × Intenso Alu Line 8GB USB flash drive with cap
• Retail blister packaging

• 8GB is enough for documents, presentations, a firmware update or a small set of photos.
• At up to 6.5 MB/s write, loading a full 8GB takes roughly 20 to 30 minutes.
• Usable capacity shown in Windows or macOS is lower than the label: manufacturers count 1 GB as 1,000,000,000 bytes, operating systems count in binary units, and the file system takes a small share.
• Real-world speed depends on the port, the computer and the files: one large video copies much faster than thousands of small photos or documents.
• Always use Eject or Safely Remove before pulling the drive out; unplugging during a write is the most common cause of a corrupted stick.

• 8GB is too small for current Windows installation images, photo libraries or video.
• It does not plug straight into USB-C-only laptops, tablets or phones; you need a USB-C to USB-A adapter (an OTG adapter for phones).
• It is not a backup on its own: flash drives get lost and can fail, so keep a second copy of anything important.
• It is not an external SSD; for large daily transfers or running applications from the drive, an external SSD is the right tool.
