Intenso Micro Line 16 GB — 18 mm, 3 g, Capless
16 GBUSB 2.0, Type-A16.5 MB/s read / 6.5 MB/s write18 x 15 x 7 mm, 3 g
The Intenso Micro Line is a 16 GB USB 2.0 flash drive in a very small black plastic body — 18 x 15 x 7 mm and 3 g. Almost nothing protrudes once it is in the port, so it suits a laptop, a car head unit or a media player you want to leave it in. Intenso publishes read speeds of up to 16.5 MB/s and write speeds of up to 6.5 MB/s.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is a USB Type-A drive with no USB-C connector and no adapter in the pack, so it will not enter a phone, a tablet or a USB-C-only laptop. It is built to be left in, and that is also its main limitation — a drive this small is hard to grip and awkward to pull out of a tight or recessed port. If you will be swapping it between machines several times a day, a full-size stick is the easier tool. ???? The article number to be careful with is
3500475 — a five-pack of this exact drive, sitting between the 16 GB single and the 32 GB single in the numbering. One mistyped digit turns a one-stick order into five. Intenso does not use two- or three-packs in this line, so the pack patterns from its other ranges do not transfer — and there is a second oddity, 3500595, which is a five-pack of the 64 GB and follows no pattern at all. Be clear about the bus: USB 2.0, published at 16.5 / 6.5 MB/s for the whole line rather than per capacity. Intenso publishes no operating or storage temperature, no file system and no box contents for any of its USB lines, so none appear here.Best For
✓ Leaving permanently in a car head unit, a laptop, a TV or a media player
✓ Adding storage to a device with a spare USB-A port and no room for a full-size stick
✓ Machines where a protruding stick would be snapped off
✓ Documents and music you want always available
✓ Older equipment that predates USB 3 and prefers a plain USB 2.0 device
✓ Anyone who does not want to remember to carry the drive
Key Features
18 x 15 x 7 mm, 3 grams
A genuine nano drive. Inserted, it barely stands proud of the socket, so a closing laptop lid or a car dashboard will not catch it.
Capless by design
There is no cap because there is nothing to cover once the drive lives in the socket. Nothing to lose, and nothing to look for when you want it.
Read and write both published
16.5 MB/s read and 6.5 MB/s write. That is unusual for Intenso, which normally publishes a single blended rate for a whole line — here you get both directions, which tells you rather more.
24 months in the EEA
Intenso publishes a two-year guarantee from purchase by the end consumer, valid in the European Economic Area and Switzerland, covering all its products.

Singular Expert Insight
The Micro Line is a shape rather than a specification: 18 mm, 3 grams, nothing sticking out. That makes it right for a car stereo or a laptop you want to add storage to permanently, and wrong as a drive you carry and swap. It is also, unusually for Intenso, a line where both read and write are published rather than a single blended rate — 16.5 and 6.5 MB/s, which are honest USB 2.0 numbers. The thing to check before ordering is the article number: the five-pack of this same drive sits one digit away, and Intenso’s pack conventions differ from line to line. If you want a low-profile drive on a modern bus, Verbatim’s Store ‘n’ Stay NANO is published at 80 / 25 and sits in our USB flash drives range. For large working files, an external SSD is the right class of product.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want to add 16 GB to a car, a laptop or a media player and leave it there, with almost nothing protruding, at the lowest sensible price.
Skip it if
You will move the drive between machines every day, or you write files often. Or you wanted the five-pack, which is article 3500475.
Also consider
Intenso Micro Line 3500475 if you actually want five drives. Verbatim Store n Stay NANO for a low-profile drive on USB 3.2 Gen 1 at 80 / 25. Any full-size stick if you will be carrying it around.
