Intenso Rainbow Line 128 GB — Transparent Red, USB 2.0, One Drive
128 GBUSB 2.0, Type-A28 MB/s read / 6.5 MB/s write65 x 19 x 9 mm
The Intenso Rainbow Line is a 128 GB USB 2.0 flash drive in a slim transparent plastic body, 65 x 19 x 9 mm. Intenso assigns a colour to each capacity in the range and 128 GB is red. It publishes read speeds of up to 28 MB/s and write speeds of up to 6.5 MB/s. This article number is a single drive — read the note below, because the numbering in this family is genuinely confusing.
Compatibility — check before buying:
???? Check the article number, not the capacity, before you order. Intenso’s Rainbow Line numbering is not sequential by size:
3502490 is the 64 GB single, 3502491 — this one — is the 128 GB single, and 3502492 is a 2 x 64 GB twin pack. The twin pack sits after the larger single, so a listing that looks unaccountably good value is usually the pack. There is a second pattern to watch: article numbers ending in 3 are three-packs (3502463, 3502473, 3502483), each one digit up from its own single. This is also a USB Type-A drive with no USB-C connector and no adapter in the pack, so it will not enter a phone or a USB-C-only laptop. Be clear about the write speed: 6.5 MB/s is slow — copying a large video onto this drive is a job you start and walk away from. It is a capacity buy, not a speed one.Best For
✓ Bulk storage of documents, photographs and music at a low price per gigabyte
✓ Buying several at once for an office or a classroom
✓ Machines and laptops with USB-A ports, including older ones
✓ Equipment that predates USB 3 and prefers a plain USB 2.0 device
✓ Colour-coding drives — Intenso gives each capacity its own colour
✓ Anyone who wants 128 GB without paying USB 3.2 prices
Key Features
128 GB on USB 2.0
Unusual at this price. If what you need is room rather than speed — an archive, a music library, a folder of scans — this delivers the capacity and charges you in patience rather than money.
A colour per capacity
Intenso assigns colours across the Rainbow Line by size, and 128 GB is red. Where several drives circulate in one office, that is a genuinely useful way to tell a 128 from a 32 at a glance.
Slim transparent body
65 x 19 x 9 mm in transparent plastic, slim enough not to block the neighbouring port on a crowded laptop.
24-month cover in the EEA
Intenso publishes a two-year warranty from the date of purchase by the end consumer, valid in the European Economic Area and Switzerland — so the term applies here rather than being a US-only statement.

Singular Expert Insight
The Rainbow Line is a capacity-per-euro product and it is honest about it: 128 GB, USB 2.0, 28 MB/s read and 6.5 MB/s write, with a real two-year European warranty behind it. Fill it once with an archive or a media library and it does its job perfectly well; use it as a working drive and the write speed will wear you down. The thing that actually catches people out here is not the speed but the article number — Intenso numbers its multipacks next to its singles, and the 2 x 64 GB pack sits one digit above this 128 GB single. If speed matters at all, the USB 3.2 Gen 1 drives in our USB flash drives range are several times quicker for modest extra money. For working files rather than an archive, an external SSD is the right class of product.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want 128 GB as cheaply as possible for an archive or a media library, and you will mostly read from the drive rather than write to it.
Skip it if
You write to the drive regularly — 6.5 MB/s is very slow. Or you wanted the twin pack, which is article 3502492. Or you need a USB-C connector.
Also consider
Intenso Rainbow Line 3502492 if you actually want two 64 GB drives. Intenso Speed Line for a faster USB 3.2 Gen 1 body. Any USB 3.2 drive if write speed matters.
