Intenso Rainbow Line 32 GB — Transparent, USB 2.0, One Drive
32 GBUSB 2.0, Type-A28 MB/s read / 6.5 MB/s write65 x 19 x 9 mm
The Intenso Rainbow Line is a 32 GB USB 2.0 flash drive in a slim transparent plastic body, 65 x 19 x 9 mm. Intenso assigns a colour to each capacity in the range and 32 GB is the transparent one. It publishes read speeds of up to 28 MB/s and write speeds of up to 6.5 MB/s. This article number is a single drive — read the note below, because the numbering in this family is genuinely confusing.
Compatibility — check before buying:
???? Check the article number, not the capacity, before you order. Intenso’s Rainbow Line numbering is not sequential by size and it mixes singles with multipacks:
3502480 — this one — is the 32 GB single, but 3502483 is a three-pack of 32 GB drives in yellow, red and black, sitting three digits away. Elsewhere in the same line 3502490 is the 64 GB single, 3502491 the 128 GB single and 3502492 a 2 x 64 GB twin pack — so the pack sits after the larger single. If a listing looks unaccountably good value, it is usually a pack. This is also a USB Type-A drive with no USB-C connector and no adapter in the pack, so it will not enter a phone or a USB-C-only laptop. Be clear about the write speed: 6.5 MB/s is slow — copying a large video onto this drive is a job you start and walk away from. It is a capacity-and-colour buy, not a speed one.Best For
✓ Documents, spreadsheets, presentations and photographs
✓ Colour-coding drives — each Rainbow Line capacity has its own colour
✓ Buying several at once for an office or a classroom
✓ Machines and laptops with USB-A ports, including older ones
✓ Equipment that predates USB 3 and prefers a plain USB 2.0 device
✓ A drive you fill once and mostly read from
Key Features
A colour per capacity
Intenso assigns colours across the Rainbow Line by size, and 32 GB is transparent. Where several drives circulate in one office, that is a genuinely useful way to tell a 32 from a 128 at a glance.
Slim transparent body
65 x 19 x 9 mm in transparent plastic, slim enough not to block the neighbouring port on a crowded laptop.
28 MB/s read
Modest, but published — and towards the top of what a USB 2.0 drive manages. Within the Intenso range it is the entry level: Speed Line and Office Line are quoted at 70 MB/s and Premium Line at 100.
24 months in the EEA
Intenso publishes a two-year guarantee from purchase by the end consumer, valid in the European Economic Area and Switzerland — so the term applies here rather than being a statement for another market.

Singular Expert Insight
The Rainbow Line is a capacity-per-euro product and it is honest about it: USB 2.0, 28 MB/s read and 6.5 MB/s write, with a real two-year European warranty behind it. What makes it worth choosing over an unbranded stick is the colour-per-capacity scheme, which in an office with a drawer full of drives saves more time than any figure on this page. Fill it once with documents or photographs and it does its job; use it as a working drive and the write speed will wear you down. The thing that actually catches people out is the article number — Intenso numbers its multipacks next to its singles, and the three-pack of this exact drive is three digits away. If speed matters at all, the USB 3.2 Gen 1 drives in our USB flash drives range are several times quicker for modest extra money. For working files, an external SSD is the right class of product.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want 32 GB cheaply for documents and photographs, the transparent body is a useful capacity marker, and you will mostly read from the drive.
Skip it if
You write to the drive regularly — 6.5 MB/s is very slow. Or you wanted the three-pack, which is article 3502483. Or you need a USB-C connector.
Also consider
Intenso Rainbow Line 3502483 if you actually want three 32 GB drives. Intenso Speed Line for a USB 3.2 Gen 1 body at 70 MB/s. Any USB 3.2 drive if write speed matters.
