Intenso Rainbow Line 64GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive, Translucent Orange Capped Stick, up to 28 MB/s Read, for PC and Mac

The Intenso Rainbow Line 64GB (3502490) is a translucent orange USB 2.0 flash drive with a cap, up to 28 MB/s read and 6.5 MB/s write, for students, families and offices who keep several sticks and want to tell them apart at a glance.

In the Rainbow Line each capacity has its own colour, and 64GB is orange, so the colour also tells you the size. As a USB 2.0 drive it is ideal for documents, music and photos; large video files take noticeably longer to copy onto it.

• Copying 10GB onto the stick at up to 6.5 MB/s takes around half an hour; reading files back is roughly four times faster.
• The colour code helps in classrooms and offices: everyone knows the orange stick is the 64GB one.
• Usable capacity shown in Windows or macOS is lower than the label: manufacturers count 1 GB as 1,000,000,000 bytes, operating systems count in binary units, and the file system takes a small share.
• Real-world speed depends on the port, the computer and the files: one large video copies much faster than thousands of small photos or documents.
• Always use Eject or Safely Remove before pulling the drive out; unplugging during a write is the most common cause of a corrupted stick.

• Writing large files is slow on USB 2.0; for regular video transfers choose a USB 3.x stick.
• It does not plug straight into USB-C-only laptops, tablets or phones; you need a USB-C to USB-A adapter (an OTG adapter for phones).
• It is not a backup on its own: flash drives get lost and can fail, so keep a second copy of anything important.
• It is not an external SSD; for large daily transfers or running applications from the drive, an external SSD is the right tool.
