Intenso Speed Line 128 GB — 8 Grams of Plain, Cheap USB 3.2 Storage
128 GBUp to 70 MB/s8 g plastic body24-month Intenso warranty
The Intenso Speed Line is a 128 GB USB 3.2 Gen 1 flash drive in a plain black plastic body measuring 65 x 19 x 9 mm and weighing 8 g. Intenso’s own description is refreshingly blunt about what it is: plug, play and go, with no additional software required. It carries a stated 24-month manufacturer warranty and is rated at up to 70 MB/s.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is a USB Type-A drive, so it does not fit a phone or a USB-C-only laptop without an adapter, which is not supplied. The ordering risk here is real and worth two minutes of your attention. Intenso sells three different 128 GB USB-A sticks whose article numbers all end in 491 and differ by a single digit: 3533491 is this Speed Line, black plastic, 8 g, up to 70 MB/s. 3534491 is the Premium Line: a tiny 5 g all-metal drive rated up to 100 MB/s. 3543491 is the Office Line: a 16 g swivel-clip drive with a metal keyring loop, also up to 70 MB/s. If you want the fastest, it is the Premium Line; if you want a keyring loop, it is the Office Line; if you want the cheapest, it is this one. Two further honest points: Intenso publishes a single maximum transfer rate with no read and write split, and it publishes no cap or slider mechanism and no keyring hole for the Speed Line, so we make no claim about either.
Best For
✓ Cheap bulk storage for documents, photographs and installers
✓ Handing out files at an event or a class where cost per drive counts
✓ A spare drive to keep a second copy of important files on
✓ Machines and laptops with USB-A ports
✓ Anyone who wants 128 GB at the lowest sensible price
✓ Buyers who want a clearly stated 24-month manufacturer term
Key Features
128 GB at the bottom of the range
Intenso’s cheapest route to this capacity. Room for tens of thousands of photographs or a substantial documents archive, without paying for a metal body you do not need.
8 grams, nothing to it
65 x 19 x 9 mm of plastic weighing 8 g. Light enough to forget in a pocket, and cheap enough that losing one is an annoyance rather than a problem.
Up to 70 MB/s
Intenso publishes a single maximum transfer rate for the Speed Line rather than separate read and write figures, and the same rate applies across the range.
No software, no setup
Intenso states plainly that Speed Liners require no additional software. It mounts as ordinary removable storage on Windows and macOS with nothing to install.

Singular Expert Insight
There is no pretence about this drive and that is its appeal: plastic, 8 grams, 128 GB, up to 70 MB/s, no software, 24 months of cover, and the lowest price Intenso charges for this capacity. Buy it as the drive you hand to someone and do not need back. What you should not do is order it by capacity alone, because Intenso sells two other 128 GB USB-A sticks whose article numbers differ from this one by a single digit — one of them faster, one of them with a keyring loop. That is the whole reason for the warning above. If you want either of those things, the alternatives are on the same shelf, and the rest of our USB flash drives range covers the faster end. For repeated large transfers, an external SSD is the right tool.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want 128 GB as cheaply as Intenso sells it, for documents and photographs, and up to 70 MB/s with a stated 24-month term is enough for what you move.
Skip it if
You want the faster Intenso 128 GB — that is the Premium Line, article 3534491, at up to 100 MB/s. You need a keyring hole, a USB-C connector, or published read and write figures.
Also consider
Intenso Premium Line 3534491 for a metal 5 g body at up to 100 MB/s. Intenso Office Line 3543491 for a swivel clip and a metal keyring loop. Intenso Twist Line if you need USB-C as well.
