Intenso Twist Line 256 GB — Aluminium USB-C and USB-A Drive
256 GBUSB-C + USB-AAluminium twist bodyUp to 70 MB/s
The Intenso Twist Line (article 3539492) is a 256 GB USB 3.2 Gen 1 flash drive in an anthracite aluminium body, with a USB Type-C connector and a full-size USB Type-A connector on the same stick. The body twists to expose whichever end you need, so there is no cap and no adapter to carry. At 65 x 18 x 8 mm and 9 g it is light enough to live on a keyring.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The USB-C end works with Android phones and tablets that support USB OTG, with USB-C laptops and with USB-C iPads and iPhones. It will not fit a Lightning iPhone. Intenso lists Windows 10 or later and macOS 10.x or later; Linux is not on its list, although the drive is a standard mass-storage device. One number to be clear about: the 70 MB/s figure Intenso publishes covers the whole Twist Line, from 16 GB to 512 GB, as a maximum rather than a measurement for this capacity, and Intenso publishes no write speed at all.
Best For
✓ Moving photos and video off an Android phone or USB-C tablet
✓ Sharing files between a modern laptop and an older desktop
✓ A metal keyring drive with real capacity
✓ Carrying documents between home, office and client sites
✓ Travelling without a pouch full of adapters
✓ A dual-connector drive at a modest price
Key Features
Twist body, two connectors
The aluminium body rotates around the connector, exposing the USB Type-C end or the USB Type-A end and covering the other. There is no separate cap, nothing hinged and nothing to leave behind on a desk.
Aluminium, not plastic
Intenso specifies the housing as aluminium. That is unusual at this price for a dual-connector drive, and it is the difference between a drive that survives a keyring and one that cracks along a seam after a few months.
256 GB with a USB-C end
A quarter of a terabyte that plugs straight into a phone or a USB-C laptop. For clearing a camera roll or moving a video project off a tablet, the capacity is the point — you are not deciding what to leave behind.
Light and compact
65 x 18 x 8 mm and 9 g. It adds nothing meaningful to a keyring, and it is short enough that a phone plugged into it can still lie flat on a table while the transfer runs.

Singular Expert Insight
Dual-connector drives are usually plastic and usually forgettable. The Twist Line is aluminium and the twist mechanism means there is no cap in the equation at all, which is why it survives a keyring better than most drives at its price. Be realistic about the speed. Intenso publishes one figure for the whole family — up to 70 MB/s — and no write speed whatsoever, so this is a drive for carrying and sharing, not for repeatedly dumping large captures. It is also worth checking the article number before you order: Intenso’s cMobile Line is another metal dual-connector drive with the same published figure, and the two get confused constantly. If you want the same shape with a higher published read speed, the Kingston microDuo 3C is rated at 200 MB/s; if you want it cheaper still and do not need USB-C, Intenso’s own Slim Line publishes 100 MB/s.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You need one 256 GB drive that plugs into both a phone or USB-C laptop and an older USB-A machine, you want aluminium rather than plastic, and up to 70 MB/s covers what you move.
Skip it if
You need a published write speed, or you copy large video files onto the drive regularly. Skip it too if your iPhone has a Lightning port, or if you need Linux listed as supported.
