Intenso Twist Line 64 GB — Aluminium Drive with USB-A and USB-C
USB-A + USB-C64 GBUp to 70 MB/sAluminium, 9 g
The Intenso Twist Line is a 64 GB USB 3.2 Gen 1 flash drive with both a USB-A and a USB-C connector, in an aluminium body finished in anthracite. Intenso describes it as the data bridge between smartphones, tablets, computers, laptops and TVs, and it connects directly to OTG-capable mobile devices through the USB-C end with no adapter and no app. It measures 65 x 18 x 8 mm and weighs 9 g.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Our supplier data describes this as a USB-C drive. It is dual-ended. Intenso’s own datasheet titles it a “Super Speed USB-C & USB-A Flash Drive” and states plainly: two connections, USB-A and USB-C. That makes it more useful than the listing suggests — it plugs into an old laptop and a new phone alike. For the USB-C end to work on a phone or tablet, the device must be OTG-capable, which covers virtually every recent Android device; Intenso lists Windows 10 and macOS 10.x as system requirements and names no Android or iOS version, so an iPhone should not be assumed. Two further honest points: Intenso publishes a single maximum transfer rate of up to 70 MB/s with no read and write split, and it publishes no keyring or strap hole for the Twist Line, although it does publish one for its Premium and Office lines — that absence is meaningful, not an oversight. Note also that article 3539491 is the 128 GB version of this same drive, one digit away.
Best For
✓ Moving photos and video between a phone and a laptop without cables
✓ Plugging into a TV or a tablet that only has USB-C
✓ Mixed offices where some machines are USB-A and some USB-C
✓ Anyone who wants an aluminium body rather than plastic at this price
✓ Carrying documents between home and work machines
✓ Buyers who want a clearly stated 24-month manufacturer term
Key Features
Two connectors, no adapter
USB-A at one end and USB-C at the other. Intenso states the drive connects directly to OTG-capable mobile devices through the USB-C end, with no adapters and no additional apps.
Aluminium body
A metal shell in anthracite at 65 x 18 x 8 mm and 9 g — more substantial in the hand than the plastic sticks at this price, and better suited to living loose in a bag.
Up to 70 MB/s
Intenso publishes a single maximum transfer rate for the Twist Line rather than separate read and write figures, and the same rate applies across the range.
24-month manufacturer term
Intenso International publishes a clearly stated 24-month warranty across its products — a number rather than a vague replacement promise.

Singular Expert Insight
A dual-ended aluminium drive at this price is good value, and Intenso is straightforward about what it is: 70 MB/s, one figure, no marketing gymnastics. The reason this page opens with a correction is that the supplier data calls it USB-C only, which undersells it — it has both plugs, and that is the main reason to choose it. Two limits to weigh: the single published rate means you cannot compare it properly against drives that publish read and write separately, and there is no keyring hole, which on a 9 g drive matters. If either is a problem, models in our USB flash drives range publish both figures and carry attachment points. For large working files rather than carried files, an external SSD is the right class of product.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want one aluminium drive that plugs into both a laptop and a USB-C phone or tablet, at a modest price, with a clearly stated 24-month manufacturer term.
Skip it if
You compare drives on separate read and write figures, because Intenso publishes only one combined rate. Or you need a keyring hole, which this model does not have.
Also consider
Intenso Twist Line 3539491 for the same drive at 128 GB. Silicon Power Mobile C31 for a much smaller dual-ended drive. Intenso Premium Line if you only need USB-A and want a keyring hole.
