The Inter-Tech IPC 2U-K-240L is a 19-inch 2U rackmount case for Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX boards up to 244 × 244 mm, made for building compact servers, firewalls, NAS or industrial PCs that live in a network rack. With a depth of 433 mm it fits many shorter wall and network cabinets where full-depth server chassis will not go.
The case takes a standard ATX power supply (not included), has two 80 mm front fans, two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports at the front and four perforated slot brackets for low-profile expansion cards up to 244 mm long.
Before you order: 2U height limits CPU coolers to 60 mm and expansion cards to low-profile. Check your cooler height and card bracket type before ordering. Rails are not included.

What It Means in Practice
- Build a short-depth rack server, pfSense/OPNsense firewall or small NAS on a standard Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX board.
- Use an ordinary ATX PSU instead of an expensive 2U/redundant supply — keep in mind it must have an 80 mm fan per Inter-Tech.
- Removable internal HDD cages make it easier to install drives before mounting the board.
- Plan for a low-profile CPU cooler of 60 mm or less.
What Will Not Work
- Full ATX or E-ATX motherboards will not fit.
- Full-height PCIe cards and tall tower coolers will not fit in 2U.
- It does not include a power supply or rack rails (Inter-Tech offers 18", 20" and 26" telescopic rails separately).
