The Inter-Tech 88887272 is a 19-inch 1U blind plate in black RAL 9005 with clip-in, screwless mounting, for closing a single empty height unit in a 19-inch rack or network cabinet in seconds.
Unlike a classic blank panel, this plate does not need cage nuts and screws. It clips into place, which makes it quick to fit and just as quick to remove when you need the space for new equipment. Closing empty units keeps hot air from the back of the rack away from the front intakes, stops dust getting in and makes the rack look finished.
