The Inter-Tech 88887275 (model SW-BP4-GK) is a 4U blind plate for 19-inch racks that clips in without screws. It is finished in black RAL 9005 and closes four empty rack units in one piece, so cold air cannot slip past the equipment through open gaps and the front of the rack looks finished.
Clip-in mounting means you can fit it or remove it in seconds when you add a device, without hunting for cage nuts.
Before you order: Inter-Tech sells a screw-mounted 4U blind plate as a separate article (88887271). This 88887275 is the clip-in version, so do not order the screw version by mistake if you want tool-free fitting.

What It Means in Practice
- Put it over the gap left by removed equipment or reserved space. One plate covers four units instead of four 1U plates.
- In racks with front-to-back cooling, closing the gaps stops hot exhaust from recirculating to the front and lowers intake temperatures.
- Tool-free clips make it quick to take out when the space is needed.
What Will Not Work
- 10-inch racks.
- Gaps of fewer than 4U. Use 1U or 2U plates for those.
- Carrying load. It is a cover, not a shelf.
- Rails that do not accept the clip mounting. If your rails are unusual, send us the model.
