Inter-Tech SBA-5303 Vertical Wall Bracket, 3U — Mount 19-Inch Devices Directly on the Wall
3UVertical mountingUp to 15 kgRAL 9005
The Inter-Tech SBA-5303 (88887324) is a 3U 19-inch wall bracket that holds patch panels, switches and other rack devices up to 15 kg vertically against a wall, for small offices, shops and technical rooms where a full wall cabinet is not needed.
Mounted vertically, the 19-inch devices stand on their side along the wall, so the whole installation sticks out only 161 mm from the wall surface. That is ideal behind a desk, in a narrow corridor or above a door, where a horizontal bracket or a cabinet would be in the way. The bracket is black RAL 9005 and comes with the screws for both the wall and the 19-inch devices.
Before you order: The bracket is open: there is no door, lock or dust protection. For devices that must be secured or in public areas, choose a lockable wall cabinet. The wall and the anchors must be able to carry the full weight of the loaded bracket.
What's in the Box
- 1 x SBA-5303 vertical 19-inch wall bracket, 3U
- Screws for wall mounting
- Screws for mounting the 19-inch devices
What It Means in Practice
- Three rack units of space: for example a 24-port patch panel, a 1U switch and a 1U cable manager.
- Only 161 mm deep, so it stays out of the way in tight spaces.
- Load up to 15 kg covers patch panels and typical small-office switches.
- Vertical orientation keeps cable runs short when cables come down the wall.
What Will Not Work
- Equipment deeper than the bracket or heavier than 15 kg in total — UPS units and servers do not belong on a wall bracket.
- Security: there is no door or lock.
- Wall types that cannot hold the anchors — check that the wall and anchors suit the total weight.
- Horizontal mounting: this is the vertical model; Inter-Tech offers separate horizontal brackets.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between vertical and horizontal wall brackets?
A vertical bracket holds the devices on their side along the wall, projecting only 161 mm. A horizontal bracket holds them as in a rack, sticking out further from the wall.
Can I mount a switch with rear power cable?
Yes, as long as the device fits in 3U, stays under the 15 kg total and there is room for the power cable along the wall.
Is it suitable for a UPS?
No. Keep heavy devices on the floor or in a cabinet with shelves.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
For two or three 1U devices in a small office, a vertical wall bracket is the neatest and cheapest solution — as long as nobody needs to lock it. Complete the installation with patch panels and cable managers from our
19-inch rack accessories range.
✓ Buy it if you need to mount a patch panel and a small switch on a wall with minimal projection and no lock.
✕ Skip it if the devices need protection, weigh more than 15 kg, or you need more than 3U.
→ Also consider a lockable wall cabinet for secured installations, or an Inter-Tech horizontal wall bracket in 4U or 6U.
