The Inter-Tech DMG-36 is a tri-band Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) PCI Express card with Bluetooth 5.2, built on the Intel AX210 chipset with two 6 dBi antennas. It adds the 6 GHz band to 2.4 and 5 GHz, with up to 5400 Mbps combined link rate as quoted by Inter-Tech; on 6 GHz there is far less interference from neighbouring networks. It also adds Bluetooth 5.2, which runs over a short USB cable from the card to an internal USB 2.0 header on the motherboard, so wireless headsets, mice, keyboards and controllers connect without a separate dongle. In practice it lets a desktop PC join your wireless network where running a cable to the router is not practical, or replaces an older, slower card without changing the motherboard.

Compatibility — check before buying:
The 6 GHz band needs a Wi-Fi 6E router and, in practice, Windows 11; on Windows 10 expect 2.4 and 5 GHz only. Bluetooth needs a free internal USB 2.0 header on the motherboard for the supplied cable. How do I get Bluetooth working?
Connect the supplied internal USB cable from the card to a free USB 2.0 header (often marked F_USB) on the motherboard, then install the driver. Without a free header, Wi-Fi still works but Bluetooth does not. Tell us your motherboard model and we check the header.
Will I get the full 5400 Mbps?
No card does in daily use. 5400 Mbps is the maximum link rate Inter-Tech quotes; real throughput depends on your router, the distance, walls and other networks nearby. A router of the same Wi-Fi generation gets the most out of it.
Will it fit my PC?
It needs a free PCI Express slot; a PCIe x1 card also works in a longer x4, x8 or x16 slot. A low-profile bracket is included for slim cases. Send us the PC model and we confirm the fit.
Which operating systems are supported?
Inter-Tech lists Windows 10 and Windows 11. The 6 GHz band in practice needs Windows 11; Linux and macOS support is not published.
