Inter-Tech AS-22HUS Dual-Monitor HDMI 2.0 KVM Switch

2 PCs → 2 monitors4K @ 60 Hz HDMI 2.0USB 3.0 hubAll cables included

The Inter-Tech AS-22HUS (part number 88887410) is a 2-port dual-monitor HDMI 2.0 KVM switch that lets two computers share two 4K 60 Hz displays, a keyboard and mouse, a USB 3.0 hub and a headset. It targets creative, engineering and trading desks where both PCs drive two high-resolution screens.

Unlike older HDMI 1.4 switches it carries 4K at 60 Hz, links each PC over USB 3.0 Type-B, and comes with both the combo cables to the computers and the HDMI cables to the monitors.

Compatibility note: Each PC needs two HDMI outputs for dual-screen use, and 4K 60 Hz requires HDMI 2.0 ports on the computers and monitors. The optional DC adapter is not included (datasheet: 5 V; manual: 9 V — check before buying one).

Key Features

4K 60 Hz on two screens
HDMI 2.0 with HDCP on four inputs and two outputs delivers 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz to both monitors, switched together.

USB 3.0 hub on the front
Two USB 3.0 Type-A ports plus a USB 2.0 port on the front, and dedicated rear USB 2.0 ports for keyboard and mouse, so fast drives follow the active PC.

Headset-friendly
Front 3.5 mm headphone and microphone jacks switch with the computer — handy for calls on either machine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the AS-22HUS work with a MacBook?
Yes, macOS is supported without drivers. The MacBook needs two HDMI-capable outputs (for example via USB-C/Thunderbolt to HDMI 2.0 adapters) to drive both monitors.
Why choose the AS-22HUS over the Argus AS-22HA?
The AS-22HUS adds HDMI 2.0 (4K at 60 Hz instead of 30 Hz), a USB 3.0 hub, a front headset jack and includes the monitor HDMI cables. The AS-22HA is the cheaper HDMI 1.4b option.
Can I share a fast external SSD between the two PCs?
Yes. Plug it into a front USB 3.0 port; it is reconnected to whichever computer is active, at USB 3.0 speed through the USB 3.0 Type-B link to each PC.

Singular Expert Insight

The AS-22HUS is the most capable desktop KVM in this batch: 4K 60 Hz on two screens, a real USB 3.0 hub and every cable in the box. For Full HD dual screens the Argus AS-22HA does the job for less, and single-screen 4K 60 Hz users can look at the DIGITUS DS-12851 DisplayPort switch. See all KVM switches.
✓ Buy it if two PCs each drive two 4K monitors and you want USB 3.0 storage and a headset shared between them.
✕ Skip it if your computers have only one HDMI output each.
→ Also consider Argus AS-22HA (HDMI 1.4b, 4K 30 Hz), DIGITUS DS-12851 (DisplayPort 4K 60 Hz, single screen).
