The Inter-Tech 88887221 is a set of 455 mm (18-inch) telescopic slides made for 2U 19-inch cases, fitting racks with a mounting depth of 500 to 800 mm and pulling the case out by up to 305 mm with a load of up to 30 kg.
With slides fitted, a 2U server or storage case can be drawn forward out of the cabinet to reach drives, fans and expansion cards, then pushed back and locked, without unscrewing the case or supporting its weight by hand. The slides snap into the rack and have an unlocking mechanism for removing the case completely. The 500 to 800 mm adjustment range covers most standard 600 mm and 800 mm deep server cabinets.
Before you order: These slides are the 2U version. Inter-Tech also sells a 1U 455 mm set as a separate product, so do not order this one for a 1U case. Your case must have side mounting points for slides.
