The JVA06 connects over USB-C and appears as a standard UVC device, working out of the box with OBS Studio on Windows, macOS and Linux, and CameraFi Live on Android. Over a USB 3.0 port it captures uncompressed YUV 4:2:2 for the best quality; on USB 2.0 it falls back to MJPEG. Both the capture and HDMI passthrough run at up to 1080p@60Hz (this is a Full-HD device — it does not capture or pass 4K, and does not support HDR). As with all HDMI capture devices, HDCP copy-protected sources such as Blu-ray players cannot be captured. USB-C Power Delivery up to 60W can charge your device while capturing; three cables (USB-C to USB-C, USB-C to USB-A and HDMI) are included.
