Compatibility — check before buying:
The cable on this order code ends in USB-C. On an older tower or a dock with only USB-A sockets it plugs into nothing without an adapter — Jabra sells the same headset as 2399-829-109 with a USB-A plug, and that is the one to order for legacy hardware. This is also the UC build: if Microsoft Teams is the platform and certification matters to your IT policy, the equivalent is 2399-823-189. There is no Quick Disconnect on this variant, so it will not reach a desk phone; the QD versions of the BIZ 2300 are separate order codes that need a matching bottom cord or amplifier. And the box holds the headset and paperwork only — no pouch, no adapter, no spare cushions.

Four things change independently — 2393 is mono and 2399 is duo, 829 is UC and 823 is MS, 189 is USB-C and 109 is USB-A, and the QD codes are a different product that needs a bottom cord. If you are standardising a floor, get one of each build in first and try them, then order the rest against a confirmed code. We keep the rest of the range in office and VoIP headsets, and if the real problem is a shared room rather than individual agents, a dedicated microphone may serve better than more headsets.
