Jabra BIZ 2300 USB UC Duo — Built for the Contact Centre
Wired USB-ADuo (stereo)Noise-cancelling micBreak-proof boom
The Jabra BIZ 2300 USB UC Duo is a wired two-ear headset with a USB-A plug and in-line call controller, designed for contact-centre agents and heavy phone users who wear a headset for an entire shift. Its noise-cancelling, breath-resistant boom microphone keeps the agent's voice clear even on a crowded floor.
There is no battery to charge or radio to pair: plug it into a USB-A port and it works with your PC or Mac softphone. This is the UC version, optimised for leading UC platforms; Jabra sells a separate MS version for Microsoft Teams and USB-C and QD (desk-phone) versions of the same headset.
Before you order: USB-A plug for computers only. For a laptop with only USB-C ports you need a USB-C to USB-A adapter, or order the USB-C version of the BIZ 2300 instead; for desk phones the QD version is the right one.
What's in the Box

- Quick start guide

- Warning card
What It Means in Practice
- Two ear cushions block more of the room than a mono headset, which helps on loud contact-centre floors.
- The in-line controller gives volume, mute, answer/end/reject and hold/resume without reaching for the mouse.
- The 360° rotating boom can be worn on either side, and Jabra builds it to be break-proof.
- No battery means no downtime: the headset is ready the moment the shift starts and never needs charging.
- The 2.35 m cord gives room to lean back or reach a drawer without unplugging.
What Will Not Work
- No wireless: you cannot walk away from the desk with it.
- No 3.5 mm plug for mobile phones and no QD connector for desk phones.
- Not Microsoft Teams certified: the Teams-certified model is the BIZ 2300 USB MS Duo.
- No active noise cancellation in the earcups; the noise cancelling is on the microphone.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the version for Microsoft Teams?
No. This is the UC version. It works in Teams as a standard USB headset, but Jabra's Teams-certified model is the BIZ 2300 USB MS Duo.
Can I connect it to an IP desk phone?
Only if the phone has a USB headset port that supports it. For the standard headset jack on desk phones, Jabra makes the QD version with a separate cable.
Will it work on a USB-C laptop?
Yes with a USB-C to USB-A adapter. If all your machines are USB-C, the USB-C version of the BIZ 2300 avoids the adapter.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
Wired USB headsets are still the most reliable choice for contact centres: no batteries, no pairing, no radio interference, and a cord that survives years of daily use. The Duo version suits agents in loud rooms; mono models are better when they must also hear colleagues. Browse our
office and VoIP headsets for wireless alternatives.
✓ Buy it if you equip contact-centre agents or heavy phone users at fixed desks with USB-A PCs.
✕ Skip it if you need wireless freedom, Teams certification or a desk-phone connection.
→ Also consider the Poly EncorePro 320 USB-C if your PCs have USB-C ports.
