Key Features
✦
AI-assisted framing + PeopleCount — no camera operator needed
The onboard AI analyses the room in real time and automatically adjusts digital pan, tilt, and zoom to keep all participants in frame. PeopleCount detects how many people are present and optimises the image section accordingly. Participants at the edges of a large table or close to the camera are fully captured — no manual intervention required from room staff.
✦
20MP 6K sensor — Full HD 1080p output with 5x digital zoom
The high-resolution 20MP 6K sensor captures an exceptional amount of detail, enabling the AI to intelligently crop and zoom to Full HD 1080p without quality loss. The 5x digital zoom allows precise focus on a presenter, whiteboard, or specific area of a large room while maintaining sharp image quality.
✦
92° horizontal field of view — designed for large rooms
The wide 92° horizontal and 65° vertical field of view is sized specifically for large conference rooms and boardrooms where standard cameras with narrower FOVs would miss participants at the edges. The fixed-focus lens requires no mechanical adjustment, making it reliable for permanent installation.
✦
Microsoft Teams Rooms + Zoom Rooms certified — plug-and-play
Certified for both Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms, ensuring immediate compatibility and full feature access in managed room deployments. USB Plug-and-Play connectivity requires no driver installation — the camera is recognised instantly on Windows, Mac, and room system compute units.
✦
Wall mount included — built for permanent installation
The included wall mount enables optimal placement above a display or screen at the end of a large conference table. At 0.6kg and 90 x 53 x 122mm, the CAM L1 is compact enough to mount discreetly. The 3-year warranty covers permanent deployment scenarios in commercial environments.
Frequently Asked Questions
What room size is the Jabra CAM L1 designed for?
The CAM L1 is designed for large meeting rooms and boardrooms where conventional cameras with narrower fields of view would miss participants at the sides or far end of the table. The 92° horizontal FOV and AI-assisted digital PTZ ensure all participants are captured without manual adjustment, regardless of where they are seated.
What is the difference between the 20MP 6K sensor and 1080p output?
The 20MP 6K sensor captures a much larger raw image than the 1080p output. This allows the onboard AI to intelligently crop, zoom, and reframe the image to Full HD 1080p resolution without quality loss — similar to how optical zoom works on a high-resolution sensor. It enables 5x digital zoom that still looks sharp at 1080p.
Does the Jabra CAM L1 require drivers or software to set up?
No. The CAM L1 is USB Plug-and-Play and is recognised as a standard USB camera by Windows, Mac, and room system compute units without driver installation. It is immediately available in Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and any application that supports USB cameras. The Jabra+ app can be used for optional settings and firmware updates.
Does the CAM L1 include a microphone?
No. The Jabra CAM L1 is a dedicated video camera only — it does not include an integrated microphone. For a complete large room video conferencing solution, it is designed to pair with a dedicated conference speakerphone such as the Jabra Speak2 75 or a ceiling microphone array. Audio and video are handled as separate, best-in-class components.
Buyer's Guide
Is the Jabra CAM L1 the right conference camera for your room?
Choose the CAM L1 if you need to equip a large meeting room or boardroom with AI-assisted video conferencing and want zero operational complexity — the camera handles framing automatically, so room users can focus entirely on their meetings.

The CAM L1 does not include a microphone. Plan to pair it with a conference speakerphone (e.g. Jabra Speak2 75) or ceiling microphone array for complete room audio. For small to medium rooms, consider the Jabra PanaCast IQ instead, which is optimised for huddle spaces and smaller conference rooms.

The 3-year warranty and Teams Rooms / Zoom Rooms certifications make it a solid choice for permanent IT deployments where long-term reliability and platform compatibility are essential.
