Jabra Evolve 20SE — UC Stereo USB-C/A Headset
Stereo on-earUSB-C / USB-AUC optimizedNoise-cancelling mic
The Jabra Evolve 20SE UC Stereo (4999-829-469) is a professional wired headset designed for office calls, unified communications and everyday computer audio. This updated USB-C/A variant combines a stereo on-ear design with leatherette ear cushions, a noise-cancelling boom microphone and an inline USB controller for common call functions.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This exact 4999-829-469 model is the Evolve 20SE USB-C/A UC Stereo variant. It should not be confused with the Microsoft Teams version 4999-823-369 or the USB-C-only UC version 4999-829-489. Jabra introduced the USB-C/A SKUs to replace the older single-connector versions, so this package supports both USB-C and USB-A computer connections.
Best For
✓ Unified communications and softphone calls
✓ Office and call-centre workstations
✓ USB-C and USB-A computers
✓ Users who prefer two-ear call audio
Key Features
USB-C/A connectivity
This revised Evolve 20SE SKU is designed to work with both USB-C and USB-A computers, making it easier to deploy across mixed generations of laptops, desktops and docking stations.
Noise-cancelling boom microphone
The unidirectional electret condenser microphone is designed to reduce surrounding office noise and focus on the user's voice during calls. Jabra specifies a microphone frequency range of 100 Hz to 10 kHz.
Stereo audio with 28 mm speakers
The two-ear on-ear design uses 28 mm speakers. Jabra specifies 150 Hz to 7 kHz for voice and up to 20 Hz to 20 kHz in music mode, allowing the headset to handle calls and general computer audio.
Inline call management
The inline control unit provides direct access to common functions including answering and ending calls, volume adjustment and microphone mute without relying entirely on software controls.

Singular Expert Insight
The key details on 4999-829-469 are SE, UC Stereo and USB-C/A. The SE version uses leatherette cushions, 4999 identifies the stereo configuration, and 829 is the UC product family rather than the 823 Microsoft Teams variant. This newer USB-C/A SKU is especially useful for mixed offices because the same headset can cover modern USB-C machines and older USB-A systems without choosing a different headset model.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You need a straightforward stereo business headset for UC calls and computer audio, with leatherette cushions and support for USB-C and USB-A systems.
