Jabra Evolve 65 TE MS Mono Bluetooth Office Headset with Link 390 USB-A Adapter and Charging Stand
Up to 16 h talk timeNoise-cancelling boom microphoneIntegrated busylightCharging stand in the box
The Jabra Evolve 65 TE is a single-sided Bluetooth office headset aimed at desks where one ear stays free for the room. Order code 6693-833-399 is the Microsoft Teams (MS) mono version and ships with a Jabra Link 390 USB-A Bluetooth adapter and a charging stand. A 28 mm speaker handles the call audio, an electret condenser uni-directional microphone on the boom arm handles the voice, and Bluetooth 5.2 keeps two devices connected at the same time out of eight paired. Jabra rates it at up to 16 hours of talk time and up to 24 hours of music playback.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The adapter supplied here is USB-A. Jabra does not publish a USB-C adapter variant for the Evolve 65 TE, so a laptop with only USB-C ports needs a hub or an adapter of your own. This headset has no active noise cancellation — the noise cancelling is on the microphone, for the person you are calling. Finally, this is the MS article: Jabra flags some call-handling behaviour as non-Teams-variant only, so the MS and UC versions are not interchangeable once a fleet is standardised.
Best For
✓ Reception desks and offices where one ear must stay free
✓ Teams-first organisations that want the certified variant
✓ Users who want a lighter headset than a dual-sided model
✓ Hybrid work across a laptop and a mobile
✓ Desks that need a visible busy indicator
✓ Call handling where a charging stand keeps the headset topped up
Key Features
Single-sided, 75 g
One ear cup and a 28 mm speaker keep the weight at 75 g, so the room stays audible while you are on a call.
Noise-cancelling boom microphone
An electret condenser uni-directional microphone covering 100 Hz to 7,000 Hz keeps the outgoing voice clear. Jabra publishes no active noise cancellation for the wearer on this model.
Bluetooth 5.2 with two live connections
Up to eight paired devices and two simultaneous connections, with a range of up to 30 m, so the laptop and the phone stay connected together.
16 hours of talk, 15 days of standby
Jabra rates the battery at up to 16 hours of talk time, up to 24 hours of music and up to 15 days of standby, with a full charge in 120 minutes.

Singular Expert Insight
The 65 TE sits below the Evolve2 line: it is lighter at 75 g and cheaper, but it is a 28 mm single-sided headset rated at 16 hours of talk time, against the Evolve2 65 with its 40 mm speaker and 35-hour rating. Neither of them cancels noise for the wearer — in this family that is the Evolve2 55. If the deciding factor is weight and one free ear, the TE is the right call; if it is battery or dual-ear focus, step up. The whole range sits in Office and VoIP Headsets, and if you want something for music rather than calls, look at Headphones. Tell us your softphone platform and we will confirm MS or UC before ordering.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want a light single-sided Bluetooth headset for Teams calls, with one ear free for the room, a busylight and a charging stand in the box.
Skip it if
Your laptops are USB-C only, or you need noise cancellation for yourself, or you need to plug into a desk phone. None of the three works here.
Also consider
The Jabra Evolve2 65 for a 40 mm speaker and 35 hours of talk time, or the Evolve2 55 if active noise cancellation is the requirement.
