Jabra Evolve 65 TE — UC Mono Bluetooth Headset with Charging Stand
Charging stand in the boxBluetooth or plain USB cableUp to 16 h talk timeJabra Link 390 included
The Jabra Evolve 65 TE is a wireless on-ear office headset that gives you two ways to reach the computer: over Bluetooth through the supplied Jabra Link 390 USB-A adapter, or with a plain USB cable straight into a port. This article, 6693-833-499, is the UC mono version, and it is one of the SKUs Jabra ships with the charging stand included, so the headset has a place to sit and top up between calls. A 28 mm driver, a noise-cancelling boom microphone and an integrated busylight do the rest.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The adapter supplied here is the Jabra Link 390 and it is USB-A. On a laptop with only USB-C ports you will need your own adapter or hub. The cable in the box is USB-C to USB-A: it charges the headset and, per Jabra’s datasheet and manual, also works as a plug-and-play connection to a computer — but there is no 3.5 mm jack, so a desk phone without Bluetooth cannot use this headset at all. This is the UC version, so there is no dedicated Microsoft Teams button. It works with Teams as a headset, but if you want one-press Teams access, order the MS article instead. Note also that the Evolve 65 TE has no active noise cancellation: what Jabra publishes is a noise-cancelling microphone, which keeps the room out of what the other side hears, not out of your ears. And do not confuse it with the Evolve 65 SE, which looks almost identical and also ships a Link 390, but is Bluetooth 4.0 with a 14-hour battery.
Best For
✓ Desks that want the headset charged and visible on a stand
✓ Offices that need both a Bluetooth adapter and a plain USB fallback
✓ All-day calls: up to 16 hours of talk time and 15 days of standby
✓ Mixed softphone estates, Avaya and Cisco environments included
✓ Reception and agent desks that need one ear on the room
✓ Pairing with a mobile phone and a computer at the same time
Key Features
Two ways into the computer
The Link 390 USB-A adapter arrives pre-paired, so plug it in and the headset connects. Jabra also documents a plug-and-play USB cable connection to the computer, which is useful where a spare USB port is easier to find than a spare dongle.
Charging stand included in this article
Jabra ships the Evolve 65 TE both with and without the stand, and this is a stand SKU. The headset docks in sight of the room, charges while it sits there and the busylight still tells people you are on a call.
Noise-cancelling boom microphone
An electret condenser uni-directional microphone on a boom arm, published at 100 Hz to 7,000 Hz with −17 dBFS/Pa sensitivity. Jabra also publishes SafeTone, EU Noise-at-Work and G616 hearing protection.
16 hours of talk time, 15 days of standby
Jabra publishes up to 16 hours of talk time and up to 24 hours of music, with 15 days of standby and roughly two hours to a full charge over USB-C. The headset can also be used while it charges from a computer.

Singular Expert Insight
The Evolve 65 TE sits between the old Evolve 65 and the Evolve2 range, and its advantage over both is practical rather than acoustic: the charging stand is in this box, the Link 390 is pre-paired, and Jabra documents a plain USB cable to the computer as a fallback, which matters in offices where dongles go missing. This article is the UC mono. One digit turns this into the stereo: 6699-833-499. The Microsoft Teams mono with a stand is 6693-833-399, and the UC mono without a stand is 6693-839-409. The trap to avoid is the Evolve 65 SE, which looks the same and also ships a Link 390 but is Bluetooth 4.0 with a 14-hour battery instead of 16. If you need active noise cancellation, this family does not have it — look at the Evolve2 55 instead. Our Office & VoIP Headsets category carries the DECT and wired alternatives for desk phones, and Headphones covers the analogue boom-mic models. Tell us the softphone and the phone model and we will confirm the article before you order.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want a wireless headset with the charging stand already in the box, a pre-paired USB-A adapter and the option of a plain USB cable to the computer, covering one ear with up to 16 hours of talk time.
Skip it if
You need active noise cancellation, or a 3.5 mm jack, or the headset has to work with a desk phone that has no Bluetooth. Skip it too if you are on calls beyond 16 hours between charges — the Evolve2 65 doubles that.
Also consider
Evolve2 65 for a 35-hour battery and 40 mm drivers, Evolve2 55 for active noise cancellation, or the stereo version of this same article if you want the other wearing style.
