Jabra Evolve2 55 MS Stereo — Wireless ANC Headset with Link 380a Adapter
Active noise cancellationBusylight on both sidesLink 380a USB-A adapter includedMicrosoft Teams certified
The Jabra Evolve2 55 is a cordless stereo office headset with active noise cancellation, a busylight, and the Link 380 Bluetooth adapter in the box so the computer link does not depend on whatever radio your laptop happens to have. At 130 grams it is light for an ANC headset, and Jabra publishes up to 16 hours of talk time per charge. Part number 25599-999-999 is the Microsoft Teams stereo article with the Link 380a USB-A adapter and no charging stand.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Two things to get right at order time. The adapter here is the Link 380a, which is USB-A. On a laptop with only USB-C ports you need a hub or an adapter, and the correct article for that case is the Link 380c version instead — tell us your machine and we will pick. And this article does not include the desk charging stand; that is a separate order code. Note also that the 1.2 metre USB cable in the box is for charging, not for call audio. One more detail worth knowing: Jabra’s newer revision of this product line renames the adapters Link 390a and 390c and adds an -01 suffix to the order codes. Our code has no -01 and is the Link 380a build, but a later production carton may carry the newer adapter.
Best For
✓ Open-plan offices where ANC matters
✓ Microsoft Teams estates
✓ Hybrid working between home and office
✓ Staff who move away from the desk during calls
✓ Teams that want a visible busylight
✓ People who want a light ANC headset rather than a heavy one
Key Features
ANC plus a busylight
Active noise cancellation quietens the room for you while the busylight tells colleagues not to interrupt — the two features that make an open-plan desk workable, in one headset.
Four microphones on the call
Two analogue MEMS and two digital MEMS microphones handle the call, with a 28 mm driver behind them. Wireless range is up to 30 metres.
The adapter is in the box
The Link 380a USB-A Bluetooth adapter ships with this article, so the computer link is Jabra’s own radio rather than the laptop’s, which is what the Teams certification is measured against.
Light for an ANC headset
130 grams, with up to 16 hours of talk time or 18 hours of music with ANC off, dropping to 10 and 15 hours with ANC and the busylight on. A full charge takes up to two hours.

Singular Expert Insight
The Evolve2 55 sits at the point in Jabra’s range where you stop compromising: it has the ANC and the busylight of the larger Evolve2 65 and 75, in a lighter body, and it ships with the adapter that the Teams certification actually applies to. What you give up against those bigger models is battery life and, in this order code, the charging stand. The part to double-check is the adapter connector, because Jabra sells the same headset with a USB-A or a USB-C adapter under order codes that differ by three digits. Compare the alternatives in Office & VoIP Headsets or see Headphones if listening matters as much as calls.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You need to move away from the desk during calls and still want ANC. Your organisation runs Microsoft Teams. Your machines have USB-A ports available for the adapter.
Skip it if
Your laptops are USB-C only — choose the Link 380c article. You want a desk charging stand included. You would rather have no battery at all, in which case the corded Evolve2 50 is the better fit.
Also consider
Jabra Evolve2 50 (25089-999-799) for the corded version with the same ANC and busylight. Poly Voyager Focus 2 for three selectable ANC levels. Yealink BH74 for hybrid ANC and up to 32 hours of talk time.
