Jabra Evolve2 55 UC Mono Bluetooth Headset with Active Noise Cancellation, Link 390a Adapter and Charging Stand
Active Noise CancellationBluetooth 5.2 with multipoint360° busylightCharging stand in the box
The Jabra Evolve2 55 is the on-ear office headset in the Evolve2 family that actually cancels noise for the person wearing it. Order code 25599-889-989 is the UC mono version with a Jabra Link 390a USB-A Bluetooth adapter and a charging stand in the box. A 28 mm speaker sits behind the single ear cup, three microphones handle the call, and Bluetooth 5.2 keeps two devices connected at once out of eight paired. Jabra rates it at up to 16 hours of talk time with ANC and busylight off, and up to 10 hours with both running.
Compatibility — check before buying:
There is no 3.5 mm jack on the Evolve2 55 — it works over Bluetooth and the supplied adapter only, so it will not plug into a desk phone or an in-flight socket. The adapter here is a Link 390a, which is USB-A; only one adapter is supplied and the other connector is a separate order code. Jabra renamed this adapter from Link 380 to Link 390 in 2023 without changing the order code, so earlier stock of the same article can arrive with a Link 380a instead — same connector, same pre-paired behaviour. This is the UC article; the dedicated Microsoft Teams button is on the MS codes.
Best For
✓ Open-plan offices where background noise is the problem
✓ All-day softphone work on Teams, Zoom, Cisco or Google Meet
✓ Hybrid staff moving between laptop and mobile
✓ Shared desks that need a visible busy indicator
✓ Travel and hot-desking, with the carry pouch included
✓ Users who need one ear free for the room
Key Features
Active Noise Cancellation
Jabra publishes Active Noise Cancellation on the Evolve2 55 — it is the model in this family that has it. Talk time is up to 16 hours with ANC and busylight off, and up to 10 hours with both switched on.
Three microphones
One analogue MEMS and two digital MEMS microphones, the analogue covering 20 Hz to 10,000 Hz and the digital pair 100 Hz to 6,300 Hz. Hearing protection is covered by PeakStop and Jabra SafeTone.
Bluetooth 5.2 with multipoint
Eight paired devices, two connected simultaneously and a range of up to 30 m, so a call on the mobile does not knock the laptop off the connection.
Charge in the stand
A full charge takes up to 120 minutes and 30 minutes on the stand gives up to 50 percent. The stand is in the box on this order code.

Singular Expert Insight
If the brief is an open-plan floor, the 55 is the one to pick: it is the only Evolve2 headset in this range with active noise cancellation, and at 79 g / 2.79 oz it is lighter than the Evolve2 65. The trade is battery — 16 hours against the 65 with 35 — and a 28 mm speaker instead of 40 mm. Watch the last block of the order code as well, because it sets both the adapter connector and whether the charging stand is included, and the codes differ by a single digit. The family lives in Office and VoIP Headsets; for listening rather than calls, see Headphones. Send us the code on your quote and we will check the connector before it ships.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You need active noise cancellation in an open office, in a mono UC headset with a busylight, multipoint Bluetooth and a charging stand in the box.
Skip it if
You need a 3.5 mm connection or a desk phone, or you want the longest battery in the family. There is no analogue jack here, and the Evolve2 65 runs more than twice as long.
Also consider
The Jabra Evolve2 65 for up to 35 hours of talk time without ANC, or the Evolve 65 TE for a lighter mono headset at a lower price.
