Jabra Evolve2 75 UC Stereo — 40 mm Drivers, 8 Microphones and a USB-A Adapter
USB-A Jabra Link adapter in the boxJabra Advanced ANC with 8 micsUp to 25 h talk, 36 h music360° busylight on both earcups
The Jabra Evolve2 75 is the full-size member of the Evolve2 line: 40 mm drivers, eight microphones and a 360-degree busylight visible from every angle in an open-plan room. Four of those eight microphones drive Jabra Advanced ANC, and the rest handle the call, which is why voices carry cleanly from a noisy desk. It reaches your computer through the Jabra Link USB-A Bluetooth adapter (UC variant) supplied in the box, pre-paired, so behaviour is identical on every machine in a fleet. Part number 27599-989-999 is the UC build with a USB-A adapter, in black, supplied without the optional charging stand.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Two factory-set choices separate this code from its three siblings, and neither can be changed afterwards. The adapter is USB-A — check the ports on the machines it will live on before ordering. This is the UC build: it is not Microsoft Teams certified, so the Teams button and Teams notifications do not apply. Teams still works as an ordinary softphone. The charging stand is not in this box — Jabra lists it as an optional accessory, and the sibling codes ending in a different digit are the ones that bundle it. There is no 3.5 mm cable and no mains charger supplied; Jabra does not publish a wired-audio mode over the USB cable, so treat that cable as a charging cable. Send us your laptop model and platform and we will confirm the right code.
Best For
✓ Open-plan offices where a visible busylight actually saves interruptions
✓ Long call days — up to 25 hours of talk time between charges
✓ Staff who want a full-size 40 mm driver rather than a compact cup
✓ Teams, Zoom, Google Meet and Webex on a laptop
✓ Fleets that need identical adapter behaviour on every machine
✓ Focus work as well as calls, with 36 hours of music playback
Key Features
Eight microphones, four of them for ANC
Jabra Advanced ANC uses four of the eight microphones to cancel noise around your ears, while the rest work on the outgoing call. The result is that both ends of the conversation improve, not just your side.
360-degree busylight
The busylight wraps both earcups, so colleagues see it whether they approach from the front, the side or behind. It also signals desk-stand docking and incoming calls.
Battery that outlasts the week
Up to 25 hours of talk with ANC and busylight off, 18 hours with both running, and up to 36 hours of music. A full charge takes up to 160 minutes over the USB-C port on the left earcup.
Adapter, not laptop Bluetooth
The supplied Jabra Link adapter arrives pre-paired — Jabra states the headset and adapter are ready to use straight out of the box. That removes the driver-and-chipset lottery you get when pairing to a laptop directly.

Singular Expert Insight
Four Evolve2 75 codes sit together in our office and VoIP headsets range and every one of them is black, stereo and supplied without a stand. They differ on two axes only: UC or Microsoft Teams, and a USB-A or USB-C adapter. 27599-989-999 is UC with a USB-A adapter. Its neighbours are 27599-999-999, the same USB-A hardware in the Microsoft Teams build, and 27599-989-899, the same UC build with a USB-C adapter. Because nothing else changes between them, the order should be decided by the softphone your business standardises on and the ports on your machines — not by price differences between listings. If people need something that folds into a laptop bag every day, look at the Evolve2 65 Flex instead; if the requirement is a shared meeting room rather than a personal headset, our video conferencing range is the better answer.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You spend hours a day on calls at a desk, you want 40 mm drivers and eight microphones rather than a compact travel headset, and you run a mixed softphone estate where Teams certification is not the deciding factor. Up to 25 hours of talk time and a 360-degree busylight make it a genuine open-plan tool.
Skip it if
Skip it if you need a desk-phone connection or a 3.5 mm jack, neither of which this model has. Skip it if you carry a headset daily and want it to fold flat — that is the Evolve2 65 Flex. Skip it too if Teams is your platform and you want the one-touch Teams key, which only the MS code carries, or if your computers only take a USB-C adapter.
Also consider
27599-999-999 if your office standardises on Microsoft Teams, or 27599-989-899 if your machines are USB-C. For daily travel, the Evolve2 65 Flex folds completely flat.
