Jabra Link 260 — USB Adapter for Jabra QD Headsets
USB-A to Jabra QDCall controlDSP + shock protectionPlug and play
The Jabra Link 260 (260-09) is a plug-and-play USB adapter that connects any corded Jabra QD (Quick Disconnect) headset to a PC or laptop and adds in-line call control for softphones: answer/end, hold, volume and mute.
It turns a QD headset such as the Jabra BIZ 2400 II into a computer headset without replacing it. The adapter also handles the audio processing — digital signal processing (DSP), noise filtering and acoustic shock protection — so the headset is protected against sudden loud sounds when used on the PC.
Before you order: Works with Jabra QD headsets only. Poly/Plantronics QD headsets and headsets with a 3.5 mm jack do not fit the Jabra QD connector.
What's in the Box
- Jabra Link 260 USB adapter with in-line control unit
What It Means in Practice
- Keep the headset you already have and connect it to Teams, Zoom or another softphone by USB.
- Agents can answer, mute and adjust volume from the in-line buttons without finding the softphone window.
- Buttons can be reprogrammed from the PC (for example to hold or redial) with Jabra software, and Jabra added push-to-talk in firmware 1.6.0.
- Use the same QD headset on a desk phone with an RJ9 cord and on the PC with the Link 260 — just swap the lower cable.
What Will Not Work
- Headsets with a Poly/Plantronics QD, 3.5 mm jack or USB plug.
- Desk phones — this is a USB adapter for computers, not a phone cord.
- Mobile phones and tablets.
- Microsoft Skype for Business / Teams certified use — that is the Link 260 MS (260-59) variant.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The Link 260 is the cheapest way to move an existing Jabra QD headset fleet onto softphones — you keep the headsets and add one adapter per seat. If you are buying new headsets for PC use only, a native USB headset may be simpler; see our office and VoIP headsets.
✓ Buy it if you already own Jabra QD headsets and need them on a PC softphone.
✕ Skip it if your headsets are Poly/Plantronics QD, 3.5 mm or already USB.
→ Also consider the Jabra GN1200 QD-to-RJ9 cord for desk phones.
Not sure your headset has a Jabra QD plug? Send us its model and we will check before you order.
