The 29-litre 17-inch backpack at the top of the Contour 2.0 range
Fits laptops up to 17"29 litres1.2 kgRFID security pocketLockable laptop zipTSA checkpoint friendly
The Pro is the largest bag in Kensington's Contour 2.0 range: a 17-inch backpack with 29 litres of usable volume, which is roughly half again what the 14" Executive holds. It adds a dedicated accessories compartment to the standard Contour 2.0 layout, and carries the same security set - RFID pocket, puncture-resistant lockable laptop zip, checkpoint-friendly design - in a body that still weighs only 1.2 kg empty.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Rated for laptops up to 17" / 43.2 cm, with a compartment of 419 x 300 x 40 mm. The 40 mm depth is generous enough for thick 17" mobile workstations and most 17" gaming machines, which is the main reason this model exists. A separate tablet pocket takes devices up to 24.6 cm (9.7"), pocket size 185 x 255 x 25 mm - so a 9.7" iPad fits and an 11" or 12.9" iPad Pro does not. Beware of listings that describe K60381EU as a 15.6" bag: several retailers do, and it is wrong. This is the 17".
Best For
✓ You carry a 17" mobile workstation or gaming laptop and need a compartment that is actually 40 mm deep
✓ You want the largest bag in the range - 29 litres versus 19.5 for the Executive
✓ You want a separate accessories compartment for chargers, hubs and a mouse
✓ Card skimming worries you and you want an RFID-shielded pocket
✓ You fly regularly and want a checkpoint-friendly bag with a trolley pass-through
✓ You want a big bag that is still light: 1.2 kg empty for a 17" backpack is competitive
Key Features
Genuinely rated for 17 inches
The laptop compartment measures 419 x 300 x 40 mm. Plenty of bags claim 17"; this one publishes the internal dimensions to back it up, including a 40 mm depth that swallows thick workstations.
29 litres, the biggest in the range
Nearly 50 percent more volume than the 14" Executive. If you travel with a change of clothes, a hub, a mouse and a charger alongside a 17" laptop, this is the model that takes all of it.
Dedicated accessories compartment
The Pro is the only backpack in the range with a separate accessories compartment on top of the document compartment, front organiser and side pocket.
RFID security pocket
Shields credit cards, passports and anything else with an RFID chip from being scanned without your knowledge.
Lockable, puncture-resistant laptop zip
The laptop security compartment closes with a puncture-resistant zip designed to accept a lock.
Heat-dissipating contoured back
Kensington's ergonomist-approved design hugs the body and shifts the weight toward your centre of gravity when both straps are worn - which matters far more on a loaded 29-litre bag than on a small one.
1680D ballistic polyester, water-resistant
A dense, hard-wearing weave with a water-resistant finish. No IP rating is published and it is not a waterproof bag.

Singular Expert Insight
A sourcing note first: kensington.com returns an access error to automated requests, so this page is built from Kensington data sheets as syndicated to distributors plus Kensington's own Contour 2.0 launch material. That matters here because the retailer data on this particular part number is unusually messy - some list it as 15.6", one prints a 694 mm width, and one flags it as an "EQ" recycled model, which it is not. The manufacturer figures are 17", 394 x 495 x 242 mm, 29 litres, 1.2 kg, no recycled content. The Pro earns its place if and only if you have a 17" machine or genuinely need 29 litres; otherwise the Executive 14" is the same bag with less air in it.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
In stock at Singular in Cyprus. Order online for delivery across the island, or contact us for business quantities.
Skip it if
Skip it if your laptop is 14" or 15.6" - you will be carrying an oversized bag, and the Executive 14" or Business 15.6" briefcase are better matches. Skip it if you need recycled materials, since this is the standard Contour 2.0 and not the EQ range. And skip it if you carry a large iPad Pro, because the tablet pocket is sized for 9.7" devices.
