Kensington 2-Way Removable Privacy Screen Filter for 13.3" 16:10 Laptops
13.3" 16:102-way ±30°Tabs or tapeReversible matte/gloss
The Kensington 626459 is a 2-way removable privacy screen filter for 13.3" laptops with a 16:10 aspect ratio, measuring 287 x 179 mm, that blocks the view from the left and right beyond ±30° while the user facing the screen sees it clearly. It is aimed at professionals handling confidential data in open offices, on the move and in customer-facing roles.
Two installation options are provided: clear tabs that let you take the filter on and off repeatedly, or double-sided adhesive tape for a cleaner, more permanent look. The filter is reversible, with a matte side to cut glare and a glossy side for a sharper image.
Before you order: This filter is for 13.3" screens with a 16:10 aspect ratio (287 x 179 mm). It does not fit 13.3" 16:9 laptops; Kensington makes a separate 16:9 model for those. Send us the laptop model and we will confirm the fit.
What's in the Box
- 1 x Kensington 2-way privacy screen filter, 13.3" 16:10
- Mounting tabs and double-sided adhesive tape for installation
What It Means in Practice
- Side viewers see a dark screen, which helps meet data-protection duties when working in public or open-plan spaces.
- Use the tabs if you remove the filter often; use the tape if it will stay on permanently.
- Flip the filter to the matte side under bright office lights, or to the glossy side for maximum clarity.
- Touchscreens stay usable with the filter fitted.
What Will Not Work
- Laptops with a 16:9 or 3:2 screen, even at the same diagonal: the size will not match.
- Privacy from above and below. This is a 2-way (left/right) filter.
- Magnetic attachment. This filter mounts with tabs or tape, not magnets.
- External monitors and curved displays.
