Kensington Pro Fit Full-Size Wireless Mouse — Black
2.4 GHz receiver, AES encrypted800 / 1200 DPIFull-size right-hand shape2× AA, 5-year cover
The Kensington Pro Fit Full-Size Wireless Mouse (K72370EU) is a plain, dependable office mouse: a full-size right-handed shape with a soft rubber grip, a 2.4 GHz USB receiver with AES encryption, six buttons including forward and back, and two AA batteries in the box. Kensington’s manual lists 800 and 1200 DPI; its support page adds 1600. It carries a 5-year limited warranty, which is unusual at this price, and works on Windows, macOS and ChromeOS without software.
Compatibility — check before buying:
2.4 GHz receiver only — no Bluetooth, so the computer needs a USB-A port (or an adapter). Right-handed shape. Kensington’s documents disagree on DPI: the printed manual and sell sheet say 800/1200, the support page 800/1200/1600 — count on 1200 and treat 1600 as a bonus. Kensington does not publish battery life or wireless range for this model. The wired sibling is K72369EU; the Mid-Size version is a different part.
Best For
✓ Offices that want a no-frills mouse with a long warranty
✓ Large hands that need a full-size palm grip
✓ Shared PCs and classrooms with USB-A ports
✓ IT policies that ask for encrypted wireless links
✓ Users who prefer replaceable AA batteries
✓ Matching Kensington Pro Fit keyboards
Key Features
Full-size, soft grip
A full-size right-handed body with a soft rubber grip for palm-grip comfort through long days; 80 × 46 × 125 mm and about 100 g per Kensington’s catalogue.
Encrypted 2.4 GHz
The USB nano receiver uses AES encryption so keystroke-style sniffing of the wireless link is not a concern in office deployments.
Six buttons, two DPI steps
Left, right, wheel click, forward, back and a DPI switch between 800 and 1200 (Kensington’s support page also lists 1600). On/off switch and low-battery indicator.

Singular Expert Insight
The Pro Fit Full-Size is the longest-warranted basic mouse in our wireless mice — five years against one or two for most rivals — which is why it suits fleet purchases where replacement cost matters more than features. It gives up Bluetooth, silent clicks and high DPI: the Logitech M650 for Business adds Bolt and SilentTouch, the Trust TM-270 adds a vertical angle. On a laptop with USB-C only, one of our docking stations provides the port for the receiver.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want a full-size, encrypted 2.4 GHz office mouse with a 5-year warranty and AA batteries, and your PC has a USB-A port.
Skip it if
You need Bluetooth, silent clicks, more than 1200–1600 DPI or a left-handed shape.
Also consider
Logitech Signature M650 L for Business (Bolt, silent, 2-year) or Trust TM-270 (vertical, rechargeable).
