Kingston FURY Beast 16GB (2x8GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Black EXPO — fast low-latency kit tuned for AMD AM5
16GB kit · 2x 8GBDDR5-6000 · CL30-36-36AMD EXPO + Intel XMP 3.0Black · 34.9 mm low profile
The Kingston FURY Beast KF560C30BBEK2-16 is a 16GB (2x 8GB) DDR5 desktop memory kit rated at 6000 MT/s with CL30-36-36 timings at 1.4V, carrying both AMD EXPO and Intel XMP 3.0 profiles — the speed and latency combination widely used on AMD Ryzen 7000/9000 (AM5) gaming builds.
Each 8GB module is single rank (1Rx16) with PMIC and on-die ECC, in the black low-profile FURY Beast heat spreader. It boots at JEDEC 4800 MT/s CL40 at 1.1V; EXPO profile 0 / XMP profile 1 set 6000 MT/s CL30-36-36 at 1.4V, and a second profile gives 5600 MT/s CL40 at 1.25V.
Before you order: Desktop DDR5 UDIMM (288-pin) only — not for DDR4 boards or laptops. Optimised for AMD AM5 with EXPO, and also usable on Intel DDR5 boards via XMP 3.0. Send us your motherboard model and we will confirm.
What's in the Box
- 2x Kingston FURY Beast 8GB DDR5-6000 desktop memory modules (kit of 2)
- Kit warranty note from Kingston: modules are sold and covered as a matched pair
What It Means in Practice
- 6000 MT/s CL30 is a fast, low-latency DDR5 setting that suits AMD Ryzen gaming builds
- Dual profiles: 6000 CL30 for performance, 5600 CL40 as a stable fallback
- 16GB in dual channel suits esports and 1080p/1440p gaming; heavy multitaskers should consider 32GB
- 34.9 mm height clears most large air coolers
What Will Not Work
- DDR4 motherboards — DDR5 will not fit
- Laptops and mini PCs that use SO-DIMM
- It is not the XMP-only BBK2 version — this BBEK2 kit is the one with EXPO for AMD
- Kingston lists Plug N Play as not supported on FURY Beast DDR5 — enable EXPO/XMP in the BIOS for 6000 MT/s
- Some CPU/board combinations may not reach 6000 MT/s — Kingston notes published speeds are not guaranteed on every system

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the right kit for AMD Ryzen 7000/9000?
Yes. It has AMD EXPO and is rated at 6000 MT/s CL30, a popular setting for AM5 systems.
Does it work on Intel?
Yes, via its Intel XMP 3.0 profiles.
Why are the timings 30-36-36 and not 30-30-30?
Those are the timings Kingston publishes for this kit at 6000 MT/s. Do not confuse it with CL30-38 or other variants from other brands.
Is 16GB enough?
For gaming and general use, yes. For streaming plus gaming or creative apps, a 2x 16GB kit is the better choice.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
For AM5 gaming PCs, DDR5-6000 with a low CL is the setting most builders target, and this kit gets there with EXPO in one click. 16GB keeps the cost down for esports and mid-range builds; step up to 32GB if you multitask heavily. Compare in our
memory (RAM) range.
✓ Buy it if you are building an AMD Ryzen AM5 gaming PC and want fast 6000 CL30 memory with EXPO.
✕ Skip it if you need 32GB or more, or your board is DDR4.
→ Also consider a 2x 16GB DDR5-6000 kit for more capacity, or the KF556C40BBK2-16 for budget Intel builds.
