Kingston FURY Renegade 32GB (1x32GB) DDR5-6400 CL32 memory module
32GB (1x32GB) DDR56400MT/s CL32Intel XMP 3.0Silver/Black
The Kingston FURY Renegade KF564C32RS-32 is a single 32GB DDR5 UDIMM desktop module rated at 6400 MT/s with CL32 latency, made for gaming and creator desktops that want fast DDR5 without exotic tuning.
Out of the box it starts at the safe default of DDR5-4800 CL40-39-39 1.1V; the rated 6400 MT/s CL32 at 1.4V is stored in the Intel XMP 3.0 profile, which you switch on once in the BIOS. The silver/black heat spreader stands 39.2 mm tall, low enough to clear most CPU air coolers.
FURY Renegade is Kingston's top performance line; this non-RGB version keeps the aggressive aluminium spreader without the light bar or RGB software.
Before you order: The speed profile is Intel XMP 3.0 only; Kingston does not list AMD EXPO for this part.
What's in the Box
- 1 × 32GB DDR5 UDIMM module (Silver/Black)
- Retail packaging only — no cables, screws or tools are needed or included
What It Means in Practice
- After installing, enter the BIOS and enable XMP; until then the module runs at DDR5-4800 CL40-39-39 1.1V.
- The first boot with a new DDR5 profile takes longer than usual — the board trains the memory. A black screen for a minute or two is normal; do not switch off.
- One module runs single-channel. For dual-channel bandwidth, install two identical modules — or choose a matched two-module kit.
- 32GB comfortably covers gaming, browsers with many tabs and everyday photo editing.
- In games, faster memory mostly lifts minimum frame rates (1% lows) in CPU-bound titles; 6400 MT/s already captures most of that benefit.
- If your board is not stable at the top profile, select XMP profile 2 (DDR5-6000 CL32-38-38 1.35V) or 3 (DDR5-4800 CL38-38-38 1.1V) in the BIOS — no manual timing work needed.
- To confirm it is working, open Windows Task Manager → Performance → Memory: it should show 32GB and a speed of 6400 MT/s once the profile is on.
What Will Not Work
- DDR4 motherboards — DDR5 has a different key notch and will not physically fit a DDR4 slot.
- Laptops and mini PCs that use SO-DIMM — this is a full-size 288-pin desktop UDIMM.
- Servers and workstations that require ECC RDIMM or ECC UDIMM — this is non-ECC unbuffered memory.
- Rated speed on AMD AM5 is not covered: Kingston lists Intel XMP 3.0 only for this part. For AMD, choose an EXPO kit.
- Mixing with other RAM — adding modules from a different kit, even the same model, is not guaranteed to run at the rated speed.
Key Features
Intel XMP 3.0 profile
One BIOS setting loads 6400 MT/s CL32 at 1.4V. Three stored profiles let you step down if your board needs it.
Low profile
Module height 39.2 mm — fits under most CPU air coolers.
On-module power (PMIC)
Programmable PMIC — DDR5 regulates its own voltage on the module, giving cleaner power for stable speeds.
32GB in one slot
Adds 32GB using a single DIMM slot — useful on boards where slots are limited or already partly filled.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it run at 6400 MT/s as soon as I install it?
No. Every DDR5 kit starts at a safe default (DDR5-4800 CL40-39-39 1.1V). Enable XMP in the BIOS to load the rated 6400 MT/s CL32.
Can I use it on an AMD Ryzen AM5 system?
It is not validated for AMD. It will boot at the default speed, and some AM5 boards can apply an XMP profile, but 6400 MT/s is not guaranteed there. For AMD, an EXPO kit is the safer buy.
Should I buy one or two?
Two identical modules give dual-channel bandwidth, which most desktops need for full performance. One module is fine to add capacity next to an existing identical module.
What does CL32 at 6400 MT/s mean in practice?
First-word latency is CL × 2000 ÷ MT/s, so this module works out to about 10.0 ns. Lower is quicker to respond; higher MT/s moves more data per second. For comparison, DDR5-6000 CL30 is 10 ns and DDR5-8000 CL38 is 9.5 ns.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
6400 MT/s is the practical sweet spot for DDR5 — fast enough to matter in games and creative work, yet easy for most current boards to hold. Compare speeds, capacities and AMD/Intel profiles across the
rest of our DDR5 desktop memory before you decide.
✓ Buy it if you have an Intel DDR5 desktop and want 32GB at 6400 MT/s.
✕ Skip it if your system is AMD AM5, a DDR4 board or a laptop.
→ Also consider an AMD EXPO kit if you build on AM5; a lower-speed kit if your board is not on the QVL.
Not sure it fits? Send us your motherboard model (and CPU cooler, for tall modules) and we will check the memory list and clearance before you order.
