Kingston DataTraveler Kyson G2 64GB USB 3.2 Gen 1 Flash Drive, up to 220 MB/s Read, Capless Metal Casing, USB-A

The Kingston DataTraveler Kyson G2 64GB is a slim, capless USB-A flash drive in a metal casing with read speeds up to 220 MB/s over USB 3.2 Gen 1, for office users, students and IT staff who carry files between computers every day. At 39 x 12.6 x 4.9 mm and 4 g it stays on a key ring through its integrated loop without a cap to lose.

This is the second generation of the Kyson: Kingston quotes up to 220 MB/s read on every capacity. It works with Windows 11, macOS 13.7.8 or later, Linux 4.4 or later and ChromeOS, and Kingston covers it with a 5-year warranty and free technical support.

• Kingston DataTraveler Kyson G2 64GB USB flash drive

• Holds about 16,000 phone photos or a season of documents and presentations.
• Reading a 4 GB video file takes well under a minute at full speed on a USB 3.x port.
• The capless metal design and key loop make it easy to carry daily without losing a cap.
• Plugged into a USB 2.0 port it still works, at USB 2.0 speeds.

• It has a USB-A plug only — USB-C-only laptops, tablets and phones need an adapter.
• Kingston does not publish a write speed for the G2; writing large files is slower than reading.
• It has no hardware encryption or password protection — choose an encrypted Kingston IronKey drive for sensitive data.
• Windows 10 is not in Kingston's current compatibility list for the G2; ask us if you still use it.
