The KIOXIA PM7-R 1.92TB (KPM7VRUG1T92) is a 2.5-inch, 15 mm SAS-4 24G enterprise SSD rated for 1 drive write per day, built for read-intensive servers: web and application serving, analytics, boot and content delivery.

The PM7-R is KIOXIA's 24G SAS enterprise SSD in the read-intensive class, for SAS servers and dual-controller storage arrays.

Before you order: This is a SAS drive: it needs a SAS HBA/RAID controller (12G or 24G) and a SAS-capable backplane or cable. It does not work on SATA-only controllers or ports. OEM servers (HPE, Dell, Lenovo) may need the vendor's own drive carrier — tell us your server model before ordering.

Will it work in my Dell/HPE/Lenovo server?
Electrically yes if the bay supports SAS, but OEM servers may show non-OEM drives as unsupported or need the vendor tray. Send us the server model and we will check.
What does SED mean here?
SED = self-encrypting drive with TCG Enterprise SSC. Encryption is always on; locking needs a controller or key manager that supports TCG Enterprise. This part number is not the FIPS 140 version.
Is this the right endurance class?
1 DWPD suits mostly-read workloads. For databases and heavy writes, choose a 3 DWPD mixed-use model.
