KLEVV CRAS C910G 1TB — PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD with a 0.26 mm Heatsink
1TB · M.2 2280 NVMePCIe Gen4 x4 · 5,000 MB/s read700 TBW · 5-year term2.8 mm total with heatsink
The KLEVV CRAS C910G 1TB (K01TBM2SP0-10G) is an M.2 2280 solid state drive on a PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe interface, rated by KLEVV at up to 5,000 MB/s sequential read and 4,800 MB/s write with 620K random read IOPS, and it comes with a graphene-copper heatsink just 0.26 mm thick. That thinness is the point: the whole drive stands 2.8 mm tall, so it fits under a motherboard M.2 shield, inside a thin laptop or in the PlayStation 5 expansion bay where a finned aluminium heatsink will not. KLEVV is the storage brand of Essencore, an SK hynix subsidiary. An Acronis True Image licence is included for cloning an existing system drive. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is an M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe drive — it needs an M.2 slot wired for PCIe/NVMe and will not work in a SATA-only M.2 slot or a 2.5-inch bay. PCIe is backward compatible by specification, so it runs at Gen3 speeds in a Gen3 slot. PlayStation 5: the 0.26 mm heatsink means it physically fits the console’s expansion bay, and KLEVV cites PS5 storage expansion in its launch material — but be aware the 1TB model reads at 5,000 MB/s, below Sony’s recommended 5,500 MB/s, so treat this as fitment rather than certification. KLEVV does not state that a mounting screw is included; its own installation guide asks the user to have one ready. The heatsink is fitted — there is no bare variant of this part number.
Best For
✓ PCIe Gen4 system drives in desktops and laptops
✓ Builds where an M.2 shield leaves almost no clearance
✓ Thin laptops and mini-ITX with single-sided M.2 slots
✓ PlayStation 5 storage expansion where fitment is the constraint
✓ Upgrading from a SATA SSD or a PCIe Gen3 drive
✓ Cloning an existing Windows install with the bundled Acronis key
Key Features
5,000 MB/s read and 4,800 MB/s write
KLEVV publishes up to 5,000 MB/s sequential read and 4,800 MB/s write for the 1TB model over PCIe Gen4 x4, with 620K 4K random read and 615K random write IOPS — the 1TB is in fact the fastest capacity in the family for random reads.
A 0.26 mm graphene-copper heatsink
A graphene-copper composite sheet just 0.26 mm thick, which KLEVV says gives up to 15% better cooling than standard designs while keeping the whole drive to a 2.8 mm z-height. That is what lets it fit where a conventional finned heatsink cannot.
700 TBW and a 5-year manufacturer term
KLEVV rates the 1TB at 700 TBW and publishes the warranty as 700 TBW or 5 years, whichever comes first — per-capacity figures rather than a family maximum. LDPC ECC and global wear levelling look after data integrity.
AES 256-bit hardware encryption and HMB
KLEVV publishes AES 256-bit hardware-based encryption on this drive. It is a DRAM-less design using Host Memory Buffer alongside an intelligent SLC caching algorithm, with S.M.A.R.T. monitoring and a thermal throttling algorithm in firmware.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the CRAS C910G fit a PlayStation 5?
Physically, yes — at 2.8 mm total with its 0.26 mm heatsink it fits the PS5 expansion bay, and KLEVV cites PS5 storage expansion in its launch material. Be aware that Sony recommends 5,500 MB/s sequential read and this 1TB model is rated at 5,000 MB/s, so it sits just under that guidance. You will also need the screw from the console’s own bay, since KLEVV does not state that one is included.
What is the difference between the C910G and the CRAS C715?
Generation and cooling. The C715 is PCIe Gen3 x4 at up to 3,200 MB/s read with 600 TBW at 1TB and no heatsink. The C910G is PCIe Gen4 x4 at 5,000 MB/s read with 700 TBW and a fitted graphene-copper heatsink. Both carry a 5-year manufacturer term. If your board has a Gen4 slot, the C910G is the better drive; if it is Gen3 only, the C715 costs less for the same practical speed.
Is this the same as the CRAS C910?
No. The C910G is the current model with a 0.26 mm graphene-copper heatsink and a 2.8 mm height, using part numbers ending -10G. The plain C910 is end-of-life, used an adhesive aluminium heatsink and stood 3.40 mm tall, with part numbers ending -C91. Listings that show an aluminium heatsink against this part number have merged the two.
What do I need to know before buying the CRAS C910G 1TB?
Four things. It is PCIe Gen4, so a Gen3 board will run it at Gen3 speeds. The heatsink is fitted and there is no bare version. KLEVV publishes no MTBF, no power figures, no operating temperature and no controller model for it, and we have marked all of those as unpublished rather than filling them in. And do not carry the 5,200 MB/s figure from the 2TB and 4TB models onto this one — the 1TB is 5,000 MB/s.
Singular Expert Insight
The interesting engineering here is the heatsink, not the controller. KLEVV replaced the plain C910’s adhesive aluminium block with a 0.26 mm graphene-copper sheet, which drops the finished drive from 3.40 mm to 2.8 mm while, by KLEVV’s figures, cooling up to 15% better. That is the difference between a drive that fits under a motherboard M.2 shield, in a thin laptop, or in the PS5 bay, and one that does not. On performance the 1TB is well placed within its own family: KLEVV publishes 5,000 MB/s read for both the 500GB and 1TB, 5,200 MB/s for the 2TB and 4TB, but the 1TB has the highest random read figure of all four at 620K IOPS, and 700 TBW is double the 500GB model’s. Two things to be plain about. This is a DRAM-less drive using Host Memory Buffer, which is normal at this tier but worth knowing if you are comparing against a DRAM-equipped Gen4 drive on sustained write workloads. And KLEVV publishes no MTBF, no power consumption, no operating temperature and no controller model for it — where a reseller listing shows those figures, they did not come from the manufacturer. Above this sits KLEVV’s own CRAS C925G at 7,400 MB/s read and 1,200 TBW; below it, the Gen3 CRAS C715.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You have a free M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4 NVMe slot, you want 5,000 MB/s reads with 700 TBW of endurance and a 5-year manufacturer term, and clearance is tight — under an M.2 shield, in a thin laptop, or in a PlayStation 5 bay where 2.8 mm matters.
Skip it if
Your board is PCIe Gen3 only — the cheaper CRAS C715 gives the same practical speed there. Skip it too if you want the fastest Gen4 drive KLEVV makes (the C925G reads at 7,400 MB/s), if you need a DRAM-equipped drive for sustained writes, or if you need published MTBF and power figures.
