The KLEVV CRAS C910G 1TB (K01TBM2SP0-10G) is an M.2 2280 solid state drive on a PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe interface, rated by KLEVV at up to 5,000 MB/s sequential read and 4,800 MB/s write with 620K random read IOPS, and it comes with a graphene-copper heatsink just 0.26 mm thick. That thinness is the point: the whole drive stands 2.8 mm tall, so it fits under a motherboard M.2 shield, inside a thin laptop or in the PlayStation 5 expansion bay where a finned aluminium heatsink will not. KLEVV replaced the plain C910’s adhesive aluminium block with a 0.26 mm graphene-copper sheet, which drops the finished drive from 3.40 mm to 2.8 mm while, by KLEVV’s figures, cooling up to 15% better. That is the difference between a drive that fits under a motherboard M.2 shield, in a thin laptop, or in the PS5 bay, and one that does not. On performance the 1TB is well placed within its own family: KLEVV publishes 5,000 MB/s read for both the 500GB and 1TB, 5,200 MB/s for the 2TB and 4TB, but the 1TB has the highest random read figure of all four at 620K IOPS, and 700 TBW is double the 500GB model’s. Two things to be plain about. This is a DRAM-less drive using Host Memory Buffer, which is normal at this tier but worth knowing if you are comparing against a DRAM-equipped Gen4 drive on sustained write workloads. Skip it if
Your board is PCIe Gen3 only — the cheaper CRAS C715 gives the same practical speed there. Skip it too if you want the fastest Gen4 drive KLEVV makes (the C925G reads at 7,400 MB/s), if you need a DRAM-equipped drive for sustained writes, or if you need published MTBF and power figures.
