KMP Doublepack H75D for HP 301XL: two black cartridges in one pack
Replaces HP 301XL2x black600 pages eachDeskJet, Envy, OfficeJet
The KMP Doublepack H75D (1719,4021) contains two black printhead cartridges that replace the HP 301XL black (CH563EE) in a wide range of HP DeskJet, Envy and OfficeJet home printers, such as the DeskJet 2540, DeskJet 3050, Envy 4500 and OfficeJet 4630. It is meant for households and home offices that mainly print black text and want a spare ready.
Each cartridge holds 8 ml of black ink and KMP rates it at 600 A4 pages.
Before you order: This pack contains two black cartridges only. The colour slot needs an HP 301 or 301XL tri-colour cartridge, sold separately.
What's in the Box
- 2x black printhead cartridge, replaces HP 301XL (CH563EE), 8 ml each
- No colour cartridge or printer included
What It Means in Practice
- Use one cartridge now and keep the second sealed as a spare, so a running-out black never stops a homework or invoice print.
- Each cartridge has its own print nozzles; a fresh one often fixes faded text.
- Install each cartridge the same way as the original: remove the orange clip or protective tape, push it into the matching colour slot until it clicks, and close the cover.
- The printer may show a one-time message that a non-original cartridge was detected; confirm it on the panel and printing continues normally.
- Print a nozzle check after the swap. If one colour shows gaps, one standard cleaning cycle normally clears it; repeated deep cleaning only wastes ink.
- Store spare cartridges sealed, upright and at room temperature, and use them within the date printed on the pack.
What Will Not Work
- HP printers using HP 302, 304, 305 or 62 cartridges: similar look, different fit.
- Colour printing on its own: you also need an HP 301 colour cartridge.
- HP printers that received a firmware update blocking non-HP cartridges (HP dynamic security): if your printer already rejects third-party cartridges, these will be rejected too. Tell us your model and we will check before you order.
- Printers that are not on the compatibility list, even from the same brand and family: cartridge shape and chip differ between series.
- Refilling or swapping chips between cartridges: the cartridges are supplied ready to use and are not meant to be refilled by the user.

Frequently Asked Questions
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
HP 301 printers are often used mainly for black text, so a double pack of XL blacks is the most practical way to stay supplied. Check the cartridge number in your printer, as HP 302, 304 and 305 models look similar. You will find matching colour options in our compatible ink range.
✓ Buy it if your HP DeskJet, Envy or OfficeJet uses HP 301 cartridges and you print mostly black.
✕ Skip it if your printer takes HP 302, 304, 305 or 62 cartridges, or blocks non-HP cartridges.
→ Also consider an HP 301XL-compatible tri-colour cartridge if your colour is low as well.
Not sure it fits? Send us your printer model (printed on the front panel or the label under the scanner lid) and we will check the cartridge match before you order.
