KMP Multipack for HP 912XL — Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow
Replaces HP 912XL4 cartridgesBlack 950 pagesWith chip
KMP 1765,4005 Multipack is a compatible 4-cartridge XL multipack (black, cyan, magenta, yellow) that replaces HP 912XL (3YL84AE, 3YL81AE, 3YL82AE, 3YL83AE) in HP OfficeJet 8010 and OfficeJet Pro 8020 printers. It is made for offices and home users who print regularly and want a third-party alternative to original HP supplies, with the full set of colours in one box.
This pack is not made or endorsed by HP. Contents, fill, page yields and the printer list below are taken from KMP's own product data for article 1765,4005.
Before you order: This pack fits only printers that take HP 912 / 912XL cartridges (OfficeJet 8010 and OfficeJet Pro 8010/8020 series). It does not fit the OfficeJet Pro 9010/9020 series, which use HP 963.
What's in the Box
- 1 × black cartridge, 30 ml (replaces HP 912XL black 3YL84AE)
- 1 × cyan cartridge, 12 ml (replaces 3YL81AE)
- 1 × magenta cartridge, 12 ml (replaces 3YL82AE)
- 1 × yellow cartridge, 12 ml (replaces 3YL83AE)
What It Means in Practice
- One box refills every slot of the printer — no need to buy four separate cartridges.
- Black is rated at 950 pages and each colour at 900 pages (ISO/IEC 24711, A4), so a typical office set lasts several hundred mixed pages per colour.
- Each cartridge carries a chip, so the printer shows ink levels as it does with originals. KMP marks the pack MPS ready for managed print fleets.
- You can replace a single colour later with another 912XL-type cartridge; the pack does not lock the colours together.
What Will Not Work
- HP OfficeJet Pro 9010/9020, 8710/8720 and other models that use HP 963, 953 or 957 cartridges — the cartridge shape is different.
- HP 912 standard-capacity originals are the same shape, but this pack is the XL fill only; there is no smaller version in the box.
- Printers on HP Instant Ink subscription accept only subscription cartridges while the plan is active.
- HP firmware updates can change how the printer treats non-HP cartridges. If a cartridge is suddenly rejected after an update, contact us before removing the set.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
For OfficeJet Pro 8020-series users this KMP set is the simplest way to replace all four 912XL colours at once with published XL yields. Check the model number first: the 9010/9020 series look similar but use HP 963. You can compare other packs in our compatible ink range.
✓ Buy it if your printer is an OfficeJet 8010 or OfficeJet Pro 8010/8020 model and you want a full XL set in one box.
✕ Skip it if you are on HP Instant Ink, or your printer uses HP 963/953 cartridges.
→ Also consider the Xerox Everyday HP 963XL multipack (006R04993) for OfficeJet Pro 9010/9020 printers.
Not sure it fits? Tell us the exact printer model (it is on the label on the front or under the scanner lid) and we will check it against KMP's compatibility list before you order.
