Cat.6U/UTPRJ45 F/FABS
The Lanberg AD-RJ45-RJ45-OU6 is a Cat.6 RJ45 inline coupler with a female RJ45 socket at each end: plug in two patch cables and they become one longer link. It is the quick fix when a patch cable is too short or when two cables need to be joined behind a desk or in a cabinet.
It is an unshielded (U/UTP) Category 6 network connector in a white ABS housing. Lanberg makes a separate shielded version (AD-RJ45-RJ45-OS6) for shielded cable runs.
Before you order: This is an unshielded coupler. With shielded (S/FTP, F/UTP) patch cables the shield is not carried through; use the shielded Lanberg AD-RJ45-RJ45-OS6 instead.

What It Means in Practice
