Lanberg NC-0150-WE — N150 USB 2.0 Wireless Card with External Antenna

Wi-Fi 4 · N1502.4 GHz3 dBi RP-SMA antennaUSB 2.0

The Lanberg NC-0150-WE is an entry-level N150 Wi-Fi 4 USB 2.0 adapter with one detachable 3 dBi external antenna on the Realtek RTL8188ETV chipset. It connects with 802.11n at up to 150 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. It has no Bluetooth. In practice it gives a desktop or laptop a working Wi-Fi connection through a free USB port, with no need to open the case — useful when the PC has no Wi-Fi, or its built-in Wi-Fi is too old or too weak for your router.

Compatibility — check before buying:
2.4 GHz only, single stream: it suits basic browsing and e-mail rather than fast downloads. The antenna uses an RP-SMA connector — replacement antennas must be RP-SMA, not plain SMA. For 300 Mbps with an external antenna, choose the NC-0300-WIE. Not sure it suits your PC or router? Send us the computer model and your router and we check it.

Best For

✓ Desktop PCs without Wi-Fi
✓ Laptops with weak or failed Wi-Fi
✓ Upgrading without opening the case
✓ Home offices and studies
✓ Students and family PCs
✓ Temporary and travel setups

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it have Bluetooth?
No. The NC-0150-WE is Wi-Fi only. If you also need Bluetooth, ask us for an adapter that combines both.
Will I get the full 150 Mbps?
Not in daily use. 150 Mbps is the maximum link rate Lanberg quotes; real throughput depends on your router, the distance, walls and the USB port. A router of the same Wi-Fi generation gets the most out of it.
Which port does it need?
A standard USB-A port. It is a USB 2.0 device, so any USB-A port works, including USB 3.x ports. For a laptop with USB-C only, add a USB-C to USB-A adapter.
Which operating systems are supported?
Lanberg lists Windows XP to 11, macOS and Linux, with driver software on CD and online.
