The Lanberg PCE-1GB-001 is a PCI Express x1 network card with one 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 port, built on the Broadcom BCM5751 controller. It is aimed at desktops, workstations and small servers that need an additional or replacement Gigabit port, including systems running Windows Server or Linux.
Broadcom NetXtreme controllers are common in business and server hardware, which makes this card a good match for environments that already standardise on Broadcom drivers. Lanberg lists Wake-on-LAN and IEEE 802.3x full-duplex flow control, and includes a low-profile bracket so the card fits slim cases as well as standard towers.
Lanberg's published OS list is long but older: Windows 10 down to Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003 to 2012, Linux kernels up to 4.0, Solaris and DOS.
Before you order: Windows 11 and recent Linux kernels are not in Lanberg's published OS list. If you are installing it in a new Windows 11 PC, send us the details and we will suggest a card with confirmed support.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it fit my x16 slot?
Yes. A PCIe x1 card fits any PCIe slot (x1, x4, x8, x16). It does not fit old PCI slots.
Does it work on Windows Server?
Lanberg lists Windows Server 2012, 2008 R2 and 2003. Newer server versions are not in the published list.
Where do I get drivers?
Lanberg provides drivers on its product page. Broadcom BCM57xx drivers are also often included with Windows and Linux.
Is there a Realtek version?
Lanberg sells a similarly named card with a Realtek chip. This one (PCE-1GB-001) uses Broadcom BCM5751 — check the code if your IT policy requires a specific chipset.
