The LANCOM 61839 is the R&S®LANCOM PoE++ 10G Injector (EU version): a single-port midspan injector with a built-in power supply that adds up to 65 W of IEEE 802.3af/at/bt power to a network link, over up to 100 m of cable. It passes data at 10/100/1000 Mbps and at 2.5, 5 and 10 Gbit/s, so it suits the multi-gigabit uplinks of Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 access points. It runs from 100–240 V AC and ships with an IEC power cord. In practice it powers one high-end access point or camera from a 10G switch port that has no PoE.

Compatibility — check before buying:
10 Gbps only if both ends support it — the link runs at the speed of the slowest side, and the injector does not speed up a 1 Gbps switch port. The maximum is 65 W, so a device that needs the full 90 W of 802.3bt Type 4 will not get it. LANCOM does not publish dimensions, weight or the plug type of the included IEC cord. The older LANCOM PoE++ Injector (61779) is limited to 5 Gbps. Not sure? Tell us your model and we check it for you.
