The LANCOM GS-4554X (article 61869) is a 1U stackable Full-Layer-3 switch with 36 × 10/100/1000 plus 12 × 2.5G multigigabit copper access ports, and 4 × 10G SFP+ and 2 × 40G QSFP+ uplink/stacking ports. Part of Rohde & Schwarz’s European portfolio, it delivers 372 Gbps of switching capacity with front-to-back airflow — the non-PoE sibling of the GS-4554XP, sized for dense wired campus access and aggregation. Compatibility — check before buying:
Access ports are copper: 36 × 1G plus 12 × 2.5G multigigabit (RJ45, no PoE on this model); uplinks are 4 × 10G SFP+ and 2 × 40G QSFP+ (also used for stacking) — transceivers and DACs are sold separately. This is the non-PoE variant: if you need to power APs, cameras or phones directly, choose the GS-4554XP (PoE++) instead. Redundant PSU and N+1 fans are supported; stacking links up to 8 units.
