The LANCOM 61499 is the R&S®LANCOM SPSU-250, a 250 W hot-swappable power supply unit for LANCOM switches with a second power bay. It delivers 12 V at 20 A from 110/230 V AC input and is protected against over-current, over-voltage and over-temperature. LANCOM lists it for the XS-5116QF, XS-6128QF, GS-4554X and GS-4530X. Because these switches already ship with one power supply, the SPSU-250 is normally the second unit that makes the power redundant, so the switch keeps running if one supply or one power circuit fails. It can be exchanged while the switch is in operation.
Compatibility — check before buying:
LANCOM lists four switches: XS-5116QF, XS-6128QF, GS-4554X and GS-4530X. It does not fit other LANCOM models or other brands. For real redundancy, connect the two supplies to different power circuits or UPS units. LANCOM lists regional power cords as separate accessories in the switch datasheet and does not publish the box contents of the SPSU-250. Not sure? Tell us your model and we check it for you.
