R&S®LANCOM Advanced VPN Client macOS — 10 users

macOS10 licencesIPsec VPNPerpetual

The LANCOM Advanced VPN Client macOS 10-user bulk licence (item 61607) gives ten Mac users secure IPsec access to the company network from home or on the road. Rohde & Schwarz describes it as an IPsec VPN client optimised for all LANCOM VPN gateways. It supports IPsec with IKEv2, AES up to 256 bit, certificates and biometric authentication, IPsec over HTTPS for restrictive networks and one-click connection, and runs on Intel and Apple silicon Macs from macOS 11 Big Sur onwards. It is a full, perpetual licence: you download the software and activate it with the licence key, and updates within the current major version are free. A 30-day trial is available before you buy. In practice it is the remote-access client for companies that already run a LANCOM router or gateway at the office.

Compatibility — check before buying:
macOS only. Rohde & Schwarz lists macOS 11 Big Sur and later on Intel and Apple silicon. Current versions of the Mac client have no built-in firewall, unlike the Windows client. Windows users need item 61601. This item is a full licence; the upgrade licences (for users who already own an older version) are different items. The client needs a VPN gateway at the office — any LANCOM VPN router or gateway, with enough VPN channels for your users. Not sure? Tell us your model and we check it for you.

Count the users, not the devices: a 10-pack is the better price as soon as you need more than a handful of seats. Check the free VPN channels on your office gateway at the same time. For LANCOM routers, see our routers.
